[0.11.2] Onslaught League - Double Strike Duelist - 5 Aura's - 15% Lifeleech (updated on 19-07-2013)

Only look at life and resists on gear for the moment. It's only leveling gear. Take a look in my shop (shown in signature) if you see some items you would want to use, some I might even give out for free if it's for someone who uses this build :)

I love this build so much fun but i wonder if bear traps are really that usefull they spend all my mana and i can't attack after i have put them out. I'm just lvl 41 so now bear traps are just a joke i kill around 100 times faster just by ignoring the bear traps but i wonder if it's really that useful in the later stages or if you should just get double strike > multistrike > faster attacks > added fire damage
I hope to get myself a stronger claw so i can use enfeeble, have to use warlords mark to get me up to 4% mana leech since im already using 5l :D

Nice to hear you like this build so much :).

Im at lvl66 atm and dont use the beartraps either, but as soon as I start doing maps I will use them. Not for high damage but lately I link the trap to culling strike, item quantity and rarity and finish every rare and uniqie boss with it to get some better drops :)

how do you deal with running out of mana all the time at lower levels?

I run two manapots, when u got a claw with 120 phys dmg and a 2% manaleech one flask will be enough.

Just focus on 2% manaleech on an item and you shouldnt have problems. I dont take mana flows tho...

Its a bit slow in the beginning, thats why some people prefere to run cleave untill they can run a 4L with Double Strike - Splash - Multi - Added Fire

Ok I got geared up for A3 and maps, here's the gear:




Atm at 3400 life , 10K armour, capped on resists and +7% chaos resist. Damage is 3400 atm, but next points will go into DPS. After that I'll take the last 3 lifenodes.

Still have 1 ring to upgrade (maybe both) so I'll get around 4K life.

Now time for bed!

Why dont you pick up unwavering stance?

Im really thinking about it. It's two more points compared to Heart of the Oak so Im still debating it...

Ok, I took a big gamble guys but in the end it was worth it.

I used an Exalt on my shield and got exactly the stat I wanted: Chaos res.
Also bought a new Ring with Chaos res which puts me at 44% Chaos Resistance in Merciless :)



(I dont recommend this gambling but whenever I have lots of currency laying around I just have to use em.)

Your DPS is way too low indeed. With my 69 character I was already over 6K DPS, so you must have done something really different in there.

Life sounds OK once you get life on those two items, thats allright. But your main focus should be DPS. Higher DPS is survivability as well: You leech more and you kill enemies much faster.

Its hard to post random pieces of gear. It would help to know what you are struggleing with? Resists, life, armour?

Yeah I'm not sure where I have gone wrong. I mean I'm at 4.5k dps right now and still have to pick up a few claw dps nodes. Also not running haste or quality gems. I guess if I get all those things I will be around 6k but feel like I should be at like 9-10k to be really effective. As of now I can solo 66-67 maps alright but more dps would make me able to solo up to 70 pretty easy.
