[0.11.2] Onslaught League - Double Strike Duelist - 5 Aura's - 15% Lifeleech (updated on 19-07-2013)
" This isn't a bad option at all but I would stick with mine. In the end it will give you more life (over 200%), higher shieldblock + the same (if not higher) armour rating. Specced into 2 more nodes in the end as you but you will get 12% shieldblock for that and more life. Postcount +1

I think I'm going to stick with my build. Couple of things that I see really being a benefit. I have quite a bit more evasion nodes. So in the future when I get with more evasion on my gear my armour should jump quite a bit higher. I also do not like chance to avoid damage at all in this game. With this build the biggest risk is getting 1 or 2 shot. If you have a chance to avoid damage there is also a chance you can take it. So I would rather have points in things that reduce my damage received period than just giving a chance.
Edit: Also I keep hearing that unwavering stance is almost a necessity at the high end maps. Notice you don't take it, not sure if I should but it is right there. Last edited by Rancidwolf#6006 on Jul 18, 2013, 9:01:04 PM

Great build! Had a quick question though: At what point do you take EB? It seems super far away on the tree, and I was curious if that was a late game node or if you rush it?
EDIT: Read the first post again and saw you mention taking it within 50 levels, is that still the same with the updated tree? Can't wait to see the new tree explanation as well if you post that lol. Last edited by Dizzan#2948 on Jul 18, 2013, 10:58:23 PM

" Hard hits wont be negated that much more with really high armour mate, it doesnt work like that. It works with white mobs but they hardly touch you. The bosses that hit hard will still hit hard. So thats why I take the block. Also I value life more as 1K extra armour (wont be higher for you in the end). Ofcourse its still your own call, happy to see my build got you inspired and got you to play a Melee character :) " Yeah it should still be about the same time, ill update it later today (within a few hours) but if you keep in mind that you go into the Ranger tree as last you should be fine. When rushing EB just be sure to take all the life on the way. Your build up of this build can always vary a bit when leveling. I tend to take what I need atm. Postcount +1

I've also respecced a bit with my dead characters.
Tried different ways to approach the build but hardly saw a significant difference in armour. I've specced the lvl 79 the way RancidWolf did. Had around 9.9K armour with 5.8K DPS. Then I respecced my lvl 69 character the way I would do it: 8.7K armour with 6.1K DPS (used the same Claw and lower level gems with less quality). Also I didnt get any troubles with intelligence which I was lacking on my lvl 79 build. The difference in armour can be easily explained as my lvl 69 character uses a full ES helmet. With a nice other helmet I would be around 10K as well. So i'll stick to my own tree for now, although a Ranger option of this build would be very viable as well with the new tree. Kinda sad, but with IR " +310 to Dexterity" is a completely waste of +60% evasion rating bonus ;(

Its a bit sad yes but not a nerf that makes this build less viable.
You also have to look on the upside of things that accuracy does more now. I was at a 91% chance to hit as well on the lvl 69 one, gives alot of dps. In the end u need to find a balance between DPS and Life/Armour, because DPS will save ur life just as much as high life and armour. Postcount +1
