Spork totem user with multi acc booster destroying new leauge eco

Name is game.

I´m anarchy right now. Prices/ratio are nearly the same as normal. After a week. Most people selling are by name and/or guessing spork totem user. Also saw many booster slave accs in towns where the master is a spork user.

Stacking 300+ IIR then boosting 2-5 acc is destroying the eco and too easy to pull off.

(False perception or legit concern?)

I think this is some sort of troll thread about the recent botting/RMT increase, but I'm not sure.

Heck, I'll give ya 2/10 for the term "booster slave"
Wth is a booster-slave-account?
BLAMT!
booster slave = just a account you made on 2nd, 3d 4th email address to manual boost your IIQ by 50% for each slave account for your master acc (your main) to increase your quantity bonus.

"
Effect on loot

Each additional player gives the equivalent of +50% item quantity modifier on drops. So a party of three will see twice as many drops as a lone character. Increased Item Rarity & Quantity modifiers are only counted from the player who lands the killing blow. This sort of item quantity doesn't increase chance of getting more Map drops. Only the item quantity bonus that a Map has (due to its Mods) will affect the drop rate of Map items within that Map.

edit: also i mean it serious but thanks for the two points

I don't know what the hell that means either, but I'll tell you this.

The new leagues are broken, and will never fix prices. The prices are nearly exactly the same as Default because people think that's what those items are "worth".

The currency system as-is has ruined the game beyond repair, because when OB started GCPs were like 5:1 with Exalts for a month, 2 months they were 6:1, after 4 months they went to 10:1.. Now people come into this league thinking "GCPs are 10:1 with Exalts" and the people who get Exalts don't want to sell them for "cheaper". It especially doesn't help that the items will eventually go back to Default/HC so people go "this is just Default2, so it should have Default prices"

This trend will continue for every single league that comes out from now on. They'll come out, unimportant things will all be 2gcp for a week, then they'll balloon right back up to the Legacy league prices.

Personally, I'm only playing to get the unique items, then I'm scooping until the next new leagues come out.

1 down, 3 to go.

Many people just stick to default prices because it's how they think (as SaintSolo said). It is not like you are forced to trade under their conditions, although the other option is to not trade at all. Well, well, trading simulator of exile. I don't believe it is someone doing this, it's simply how PoE is designed - around trade. The economy is not destroyed, it just exists with all its benefits and flaws.

You don´t understand the bottom line. I say that there a builds that are too easy to pull off and too easy to boost.

Therefore these builds have a negative influence on a new economy.

There is literally no chance for a single player, self found, or even 1 acc boosing, to spam trade chat with 3 lines of uniques from level range 1-60 after 3 days.

I used to boost in CB. Was much much easier then. You can't ruin an economy from boosted drops. You can ruin it in other ways. But not boosted *drops*.

May i ask you to elaborate? I also use boosts to farm normal merveil for a few more alts(1 acc + 50 iiq). But when i´m in lionseyewatch i see accs named totemone,2,3,4,5 and totem one is selling huge amounts of everythings (not only items but currency).

I wasn´t long in cb but i know a little, wearing a demi god. And boosted accs where one things why top players had those huge amounts of currency (besides from normal grouping/recept sharing). that´s not the problem though.

The thing i already said is that the double spork totem build seems to so rewarding, easy to pull off, easy to boost with no drawback that it becomes so obvious looking at the trade channel that i´m asking myself that this situation can´t be desireable.

Maybe i´m exaggerated. That´s only my own experience.

While boosting is a problem the root problem is that some builds are too strong. If people can do 6 person content with one person it means that the 6 person content is too easy. If one, or very few, build can do 6 man content with one person, it means those builds are OP.

Unless there's a really easy way to prevent boosting, which I doubt, then the best way to fix the problem is to level down the overly strong builds. Or level up most other builds and make all content harder.
