Still better than you saying that you will use a loot hack if the looting doesn't change. We play by the rules, you don't.

Your opinions are no better than anyone elses. We all know how the game was intended by the devs and whats really against the rules or not. Makes no difference.

... And your point is?

Maybe you should take your own advice.

I feel exactly the SAME way. People who aren't fighting the mobs and are just pretending to fight while others do the hard work so they have an edge to Ninja items are playing an easier game. Ninjas have it easy and it devalues my game time.

GGG needs to make the game tougher and make the Ninjas actually have to fight for a chance to win loot. It doesn't have to be "named" timers, but maybe the people who aren't actively participating in the battle don't see any loot at all.

That would take care of 75% of the so called loot problem.

Good thoughts here.

My own advice is that everything I say is my opinon. So ya I take my advice all of the time. You should take it to.

Am I the only one who wants instanced loot not because of ninjas but so my screen isnt covered?
No, you're not.

I thought the loot pinata was bad in D2 after killing the countess. That's pretty much every single mid-boss-and-higher in PoE, though. Even rares often drop enough loot to completely fill my inventory by themselves. While I'm playing Solo with 0 IIQ.

Oh but didn't ppl want a "hard-core" FFA Looting system??? Now after this was granted, everyone is QQ'ing delicious salty tears.

FFA ONLY works when you're partying with your friends - ONLY TIME. People, as a general rule, will do shit when they know that they can get away with it. Players who ninja ingame do so because they can get away with it. Just makes me wonder as to what kind of pieces of shit these ppl are in RL...

But I digress... the ONLY way that a viable solution can be obtained to satisfy ALL PARTIES is to give the option to flag FFA on or off by the group leader. Problem solved; those who want it will have it and those who don't, won't. Everyone will be satisfied except for me as there will be less delicious salty tears from everyone's QQ'ing over this inane issue.

99% of all soooo called ninjas are picking up loot while they kick ass. Just so you know.

Certainly not, unless you consider circling loot like a vulture instead of contributing to the group as kicking ass. In every single public group there's "that guy" who's just glued to the loot timers. Luckily I have a regular group I play with so I don't have to join random groups too often but it must suck for people with no gaming friends.

...less players means less game.
i'm sure that would not be cool with anyone.
pray it doesnt translate to this.

And there comes the hypocrisy.. At least I admit it
When you judge another, you do not define them, you define yourself
When you're close to an enemy and it drops an item which is assigned to you in a public group, you literally have a second or less to click on it.

I was just in a party that finished act 1 cruel, we were fighting our way to act 2 town when all of a sudden a Greater Multiple Projectiles drops at my feet with my name on it. I was so excited, I had an instant rush of adrenaline and as I shot my mouse cursor to it... it went public and someone else grabbed it instantly... At which point they told us all it was a 16% Quality GMP.............

You can imagine how crushing this was, well, is, it just happened. I went from being super excited to play the game, to playing the game and being super excited, to seeing that thing drop and being so excited my head could explode, to... depressed and sad....

It seems like if you're going to assign drops to people specifically then they should have more than 1 second or less to click the item, especially with how hard it can be to find that camo'd cursor (it really does blend in).

I wouldn't be sad or depressed at all if it were a general drop and not assigned to me, I'd just be like "wow, grats to whoever got that, that's awesome" and move on wishing I were faster. But the fact that it was assigned to me and yet I didn't get it, because I couldn't get my cursor to it in under a second... man.... now I just feel bad :(

Please either remove this feature completely and make every drop a complete free for all, or increase the timers for the item assignments, because the way it's setup right now it just crushes people and makes them want to go do something other than play this game
