I have always felt team leaders should be able to specify the loot system for their team.
I cant see how giving players that choice would be harmful... if there is not a team playing with your preferred style then make your own team...
I cant see any reason that this would actually be a bad thing.
Apart from this.. I like the current loot system just fine. I can almost always get to loot drops with my name and I get lots of chances to take things people leave behind.
Just the humble opinion of one player based on my personal experience so far.

Implicitly or explicitly? You act like stupid people making stupid games with stupid rules have some sort of right. And yes, they are stupid if they think public players care about stupid rules they made up.
The players and their rules are not stupid just because you disagree with them. Grow up.
Only a kid, a retard, or someone with lots of personal issues would join a game with a stated rule only to break it.
Im sorry but you act like retarded kids are stupid.
Herp a Derp i make a game called NO NINJA in a game where its FFA loot and expect everyone playing to be an uptight goofy prick like me. Herp a Derp.
NO NINJAS PLEASE!
BTW, You have been reported for trolling... Using the term retarded kid. STFU

But since Sickness decided he would snitch on me for no reason and then brag about it. Even tho i was just tellin' it how it is, i feel i should return the favour.
Just because hes such a whiner.

When you make such a game you don't expect everyone to play by your rules. You only expect that those who decide to join will play by your rules. I mean, why the hell would anyone join a group with a rule that they don't intend to follow?
The only reasons I can think of is if you are a kid and simply don't know better, or if you are a retard and simply don't know better, or if you have some personal issues and feel the need to harrass others to make yourself feel better or something.
But back to the point: You can ninja in this game, that's a fact.

But, if you want to play Judge Judy even she would agree that since this game is proven to be FFA no ones has the right to complain about people stealing dropped items. Since its not theirs it can't be stole.
No matter what. Ninjas don't exists. Proven fact jack.

No you can't ninja in this game. Thats actually an actual fact.
But, if you are confused and oblivious to the actual games concepts you can sure as hell cry about getting ninja'd all day every day.
I join no ninja games all the time and snatch things on purpose to listen to people cry about it. Its just something about these people i just can't stand. And their pain and tears bring me great joy.
I just hate power trippin' whiner's. But, i love to hear them whine. XD

Didn't you quit this thread?
Anyway it seems you're still completely hung up - for weeks now - on a minor semantic quibble.
When people say "ninja" they are referring to others running around gobbling up all the loot. Your point seems to be that because the game allows you the ability to do this, it should not be 'defined' as 'ninjaing'. But who cares what name you give to it? It's still exactly the kind of behaviour that people - no matter what you choose to call it - find annoying/frustrating/childish.

To all the "rebuttals" to the definitions.
I have killed Brutus and not gotten any items. A reward is something always given to you when you complete a certain task: xp, quest rewards those type of things. A bonus is something given on top of that: loot. Please remember, we are not going by what your opinion of the definition is, we are going solely by the definition. Loot is a bonus due solely for the fact it does not drop on every kill. If it did, it would be indeed a reward.
I've also killed countless rares on my rerolls, and had times I get no loot.
You can get through this game by only buying gear from the shop. Its really not a hard game. I play all of my rerolls "man mode" where I only use self found, or shop items. Have not had a problem yet.
It is entirely not my problem you can't seem to comprehend this. You guys act like getting a bonus is a bad thing.
There's a reason most rpgs use XP as a quest reward, and have the boss be able to drop good loot.
jackel friend sorry but seriously you have to go back to your cave seriously...
in modern gaming and ESPECIALLY in aRPG genre
LOOT is the reward not the exp...i dunno what type of games you play seriously
When you judge another, you do not define them, you define yourself
