Funny; up until trolling/flaming was baited... I mean, mentioned by Vooodu I thought we kept to the subject(s) pretty well on both sides. I wonder why it changed.

Its either NINJAS stole their drops, ranged can't get drops, timers are too short and they don't like taking a split second to pick up loot in battles. Because i see ranged classes grabbing loot in the middle of the battle while we all steam role through everything constantly. Including myself. Now if you don't mind, im gonna take my own advice and avoid this thread like the plague. TremorAce. Don't bother. You can make sense all day long, but they only care about one thing. And thats getting what they want, when they want when they see it. The more sense you make the more they will troll, flame and insult you. And if you out do' them on the troll, flame, insult game they will all RUN to the mods and report you. I mean lets face it, people who enjoy complaining enjoy snitching....lol Trust me, i just got off a five day ban for basically telling it how it is, and telling them where they can go. From what ive heard. GGG will probably cave into the this excessive whine-age at sometime, even tho they don't want too. So, do yourself a favour and stay out of this stank hole thread. " ^this, lol... I think there should be a possibilty for the leader of the group, to decide which "looting system" should be going on, in that exact group. Reason I'm saying this is when u play with a bunch of friends, u can easily get annoyed at eachother if something insane drops (exalted orb, unique item etc.) and people start to be unsure wether the item was ment for u or another guy (duo to the very small allocated time) The suggestion where people could choose from "Group loot", "Free for all", "Random" and whatever types u would create, makes it possible for EVERYONE to be happy with the looting system. If someone feel like ninjaing The Ledge for several hours, they can just create a "No ninja group" with free-for-all loot, and continue exactly like they are now. Also, when playing in public groups at the moment, all people are doing is whoring around for all loot they can get. Resulting in maybe 1 or 2 guys in the group actually doing damage / tanking, while the rest are playing "the loot game", makes it kinda sad to play in public groups. Cuz even though people don't want to do all this ninja-looting, it simply just is the best way to get wealthy and gain a lot of exp in the same time. Assuming 6 players = 6 shares of loot: I do NOT want more than my 1/6th, nor do I want less. I don't enjoy taking others' loot, it makes me feel like a selfish dick. I feel the same when others do it to me. I DO want everyone on the same friggin team to work TOGETHER to kill the mobs first, and divvy up the loot afterwards. I DO want a one-for-all and all-for-one group, not a gotta-get-mine before you get yours. And FFS I want people killing FIRST, and then looting. If the loot were allocated or on a very long timer, there would be no need to loot before killing. The loot is really a symptom of the problem, not the problem. Cooperation, not competition. THAT is why I want a non-FFA system. In a very grind heavy game the death penalty equates to...more grinding.

Maybe we need a 3rd and 4th and 5th optional loot mechanic so that there will not be a single person out there who finds the loot options unfair. And I highly doubt that even then everyone would be satisfied. The problem is, that everyone has their own way of thinking about "fair". There is no such thing as fair in this world, because some people will always benefit from a decision, while others won't. |

" Nobody. But be sure that at least 2 options are better than only one as is the case with the current ffa implementation. In the end you can't make absolute all your players happy but as long as the largest part of your playerbase is satisfied then it means you did good.
