I am still waiting when devs will step in and tell us their current stance.. It's pretty ridiculous how they wrote that people who like allocated loot should be happy because they add 1 second allocation time..it's like spiting you in face and telling you "you should be happy about that...I brushed my teeth so shut up"

They told us they want our feedback..and feedback here, at reddit, in game and basically in every another forum is mostly negative about current system..so what is their next step and when? I don't know but I know yesterday was too late already for many people.

Wow...

GGG work their butts off to provide a FREE to play game. They spend alot of time, money, passion and effort to make a great game possible.

They have been soo busy lately, bustin their ass's off making sure open beta runs smoothly...

And you sit there thumping your keyboard like GGG owes you something NOWWW!!?...

LOL... WTF?!

Gimmie a break. Give them a break... And let them do what needs to be done when they can.

Seriously...

This is true when there is a real problem, for example something is not working as intended. But what do you do if your customers fight about something? What if customer A says that he hates X, while customers B and C are satisfied and enjoy the product? Should you change the product just for customer A because he makes lots of threads on online media?

Please explain that to me.
But the majority actually dislike the loot system, the instansers are not a loud minority, they are a loud majority.

it's always about majority.. check reddit for example..platform, where devs are active..you can hardly find one "I love FFA system..don't change it" while there is hundreds post, how system could be modified.

same thing here..some people counted people who are against current system and who don't want change anything.. BIG majority wanted loot options or some changes in current system.

Also look in game lobby in the game.. and count "NO NINJA" tags.. it won't tell you everything of course..but enough to know, how playerbase really feels about current system.

I love the FFA system. Do you see me making threads about it?
I will ask you this question again, just to be sure: Do you see me making threads about the FFA system? No - because I am already satisfied.

Oh, and I look at the lobby right now. Here is a screenshot. http://imgur.com/zT9dYFo I see one tag, opposed to 10 other games with people who simply don't care.
Someone said "No one is going to post a 'Please keep FFA loot as is thread'", but that has happened. It got locked since everyone is supposed to be posting here.

Someone else implied something about debating customers being unsolvable. Generally speaking, when a business encounters customers divided on how they want to be served, they implement options so both can get what they want. Some people think it's heresy to put ketchup on a steak. Some put ketchup on everything. Solution? Offer the steaks without ketchup and provide ketchup when requested.

You are in the minority and are fighting a losing battle. The Devs are going to change the system.

I still don't see the problem with an option, I don't say you are against it, you seem like one of the reasonable people on here. What's your opinion on an option for the group leader to set loot system?

Strange, I encountered the exact opposite ingame - people ninja left and right and are okay with it. I'm in merciless now, and I have so far seen about 2 people who complained in my group about a ninja-looter. That's not a majority to me.

That's because the majority play Singleplayer, for the reason that they despise FFA. And I count myself amongst them.
