Perma ban the streamers promoting exploits

"
It wasn't a bug, it wasn't a glitch, it wasn't an abuse, it was a game mechanic that JR developed himself.

Why was it hotfixed then instead of being patched out? lol this just keeps getting better and better.

Because he abused the mechanic and is a part of the problem sadly. It's clearly an exploit by definition but some people want to be blind to it.

I don't know what GGG difference between "Hotfix" and "Patch". Because, well, literally in 0.4.0c Hotfix 11 post. There is a part with

This patch has been deployed without restarting the servers. You will need to restart your client in order to receive the client changes in this patch.

And still, there is no difference. The difference only in time... and hotfix after 3 days is not a hotfix for me

I am not, I just do not see an exploit here. The temple still not fixed and you could farm it on maps but it will cost you more time.
So, streamers whos play more than you still get all that juice. The problem didn't disappear, the only difference that now only people who play 10x more than you could farm temple, should GGG ban them as well?

Thank you for - quite literally - proving my point :)

A patch is a regular scheduled update for the current live version of the game, a hotfix is an offcycle update to fix a specific issue.
The guy exploits the shit out of a clearly unintended interaction. Then he proceeds to repeatedly mock the devs on stream. Then he admits that he's been intentionally ruining the economy, and he'd do it again. Finally, he taunts GGG with "What are you going to do about it?"

What does GGG do? They apply a fix that does not fully address the exploit, letting the guy continue using it. And they delete a massive thread with the public outcry.

Holy shit, GGG! If you really care that little about the health of your own game, I can care even less. League 0.4 is dead now, and I'm not sure I want to care about 0.5 and everything else until the official release.

I doubt GGG even knows what they are doing and are just Pikachu facing. The person in question is clearly toxic and suffers no consequences so why should i care if he ruins their game. It's actually becoming quite funny to me.

The funny thing is...Fub does not care if he gets temp banned

his league is effectively over. he is just doing this for clicks until the next torchlight infinite season is released

Dude, save your nerves. Due to the fact that literally each league from 0.1 has "abuse early abuse often" vibes - in 0.5 it will happen again. Player would continue be breaking the economy because GGG nerfes everything else to the ground and the only way to play is by abuses. Me myself just didn't see that GGG someday like "Listen, let players enjoy the game without exploits, let's buff loot, buff speed, buff builds so players will stop abusing everything"
