Perma ban the streamers promoting exploits

Do you have a link to some kind of Terms of Service / statue where it is described when someone can be banned?

+1 we need separate server for normal players(people with jobs)

Lol, you really think that some players who push hard do not have a job? Even with separate servers it's not any guys problem if someone invest more time then you, chill. Or you want to have some quotas like you could play the game for 2 hours only? xD
If you want you could play SSF independently and enjoy the process.

i do not see problem with this. People who have more time have advantage by default. Limited online time server just give normal players time and heathy economy. With rmt and abusers have less temp to grind. They can play softcore and everyone is happy.

No, EULA maybe. But there are more then enough interviews and videos which make very clear what GGGs stance is.

And as allready said the big streamer know damn well what might be an exploid and what not. And anyone with brain knows: if one tample run results in 100++ pur drobed DIV something is clearly not working as it should!
Absolut no excuse about this.

Never forget. They make their living with PoE/2. Guys like Fobgun might know even more about the game mechanics then some GGG emplois. Including the market which item is worth how much.

If you now get 100 times more pur DIV drobs then you normaly get including all the other drobs ... something is so wrong that you better not openly talk about it but fill BUG-reports and try to contact GGG or other streamers to warn about!

A smart guy like Fobgun must have know it. But he decided against and made a click-count quick cash video how to abuse. Short minded at best, stupid + greedy at worst.
Maybe he wanted some extra Christmess money or he finished with the league allready and didn't care about consequences anymore. Who knows.

Formally, by ToS, anyone using a price checker should be banned, as it is "3rd party software giving an advantage over other players". In light of the temple mess everyone surely remember how impacting trade is in this game and how important it is to use trade efficiently.

Naturally, only select players are actually banned for "3rd party software", and they can only guess why it happened. So looking for a pattern in GGG's disciplinary actions is moot, they only abide by their own laws when it suits their personal whims.

Jealousy is a crazy thing.

jealousy of nolifes XDXD Good one
I don't care much for this tbh, I avoid trade like a plague

but

every perma banned streamer is a ray of hope for a better future. So +1

Also

When you're at it, please ban all "hardcore" streamers who utilize "logout macro". You're not doing a macro, you're cheating and running like a coward from video game death. You've never played hardcore.

A lot of speculation on this post, as a player I dont have access to certain documentation, and I am a layman on legal terms. This is not legal advice in any way, just a common sense interpretation from my own perspective mixed with a few factors.

1. Assuming he is a parter/sponsored or endorsed as streamer by GGG:
- "Jonathan just called me, they are rolling back the entire league" (not ipsis verbis, a word might be missing, but it was basically this). This alone shows a huge lack of respect for the community, specially players that played legit or players that invested significant time. Any player with time invested on PoE2 is a stakeholder on PoE2. Apparently Jonathan was named by name, this is a very serious thing, even if playing around. Shows lack of respect, and if there is indeed a connection to GGG like partner/sponsored or endorsed, this shows a terrible lack of professionalism (this is really juvenile). I wont post the clip, because that could infringe the terms of usage and be removed, but I am sure everyone knows the clip for sure and I can provide it by private link to GGG if they want. This was done in front of an audience of thousands of people.

My dude, you need to touch grass, like, urgently... The amount of copium on this sentence alone is abysmal... Mentioning Jonathan by name is very serious? Where are you coming and where are you getting at with this? Jonathan is not some sort of divine entity that cannot be named directly under no circumstances... And even if he was, it was clearly a joke, and even if it wasn't, unless he was under an NDA, absolutely nothing you wrote makes a shred of sense...

- There was no official notice from GGG if it was a mechanic, a bug, a exploit, a fringe feature, whatever you might call it, neither in favor or against. This means that it was a grey area. Publicly show casing it and if could lead to future bans, he was placing people's account on the line (read above this is considering if there is indeed a partner/sponsorship or endorsement by GGG to him as a streamer, ambiguity is key here, no one knows). This is very irresponsible behavior in this context.

And there still isn't. Who ever used this was not exploiting anything. You're allowed to reset instances in this game. People use this feature to either grind levels in campaign, farm their ideal pets, farm essences, win races, etc. Now all of a sudden it's an exploit because...? Nobodies account is jeopardized over a feature that's allowed, and explained in the game...

- Assuming again there is a relation of partner/sponsorship or endorsement: this could trigger another issue if bans were later given to players and not to him: this would create a two tier status, where it could harm directly GGG or their parent company, either finatially or by reputation. We dont know how Sony and Microsoft contracts are with GGG, but I assume they would not to have their users which have a much higher average spending rate than steam and they are aware that their users value a closed echosystem specially because of exploiting/cheating/regulation, compared to the general PC market that is chaotic. It would be fair to assume that in their contract there is something aboiut equality and that their users are not here to be farmed, mistreated, etc. This could lead to problems if such clauses exist in contracts that could impact finantially and by reputation GGG, by extension their parent company.

- The previous, doesnt make of him a competitive advantage, they make of him a toxic asset.

Again, Jonathan is not a god who cannot be named, mentioned, or made fun of. Nobody disrespect neither him nor GGG...

2. Assuming he is an independent streamer:
- Lack of professionalism by calling by name the Game director and endorsing a possible league rollback. It's easy to assume a lot of his audience isnt native english speakers and could perceive beyond a simple joke. He should be backlisted for any future partner/sponsorship or endorsement. This action alone, cause chaos, can trigger market manipulation, misleading advice, etc. Since GGG is so proud of its player driven economy, this heavily erodes brand.

Professionalism? Again, it was a joke, similar to hundreds, if not thousands of jokes made by streamers every season, particularly when something is wrong. What professionalism should he have shown? He doesn't work for them nor is he associated with the in any way shape or form (I believe) aside from playing their video game and providing feedback to them. Should he have shown the same professionalism GGG is showing by delivering not even half developed leagues, with all the bugs, and then go on Xmas vacation? You're confusing things here buddy... Only one side of this coin has to show professionalism here, and it's GGG towards their player base, not the other way around - we do not work for them, they work to deliver a product to the player base. Respect on the other hand is due from both sides, but again, nobody disrespected anybody, so again, I think you got your ideas a bit mixed.

There is a lot more, but I am tired of writting... Yes in my opinion he should be banned, alongside everyone which abused the exploit mainly because there was, and there isnt at the moment a single statement from GGG saying it was allowed. Common sense (because it was patched) tells ME that it was indeed an exploit as it wasnt intended behavior.

Have you ever thinked on this? I guess not, otherwise you wouldnt asked for it... This is a good post for GGG Legal and their parent company look at, they have the legal insight and the correct data to see if this assumption from my part (which is not legal advice) makes sense or not.

Even if nothing is to happen, which is what I think is the way... If he is a partner/sposored or endorsed by, that status should be removed as sanction and as an example for all of those who take their public performance as a joke without considering the sensibility of the community honest playes, the studio reputation and the excelent world class tech and entertainment that Path of Exile 2 provides. His online behavior was the worst form of disrespect to the commitment and sacrifice of the developers, in my humble opinion.

I guess you're tired of writing because you clearly have a vivid imagination and watch to many conspiracy movies/shows. The only fault of this league being as it is, lands on GGG. To the best of my knowledge, nobody did anything like duping items or currency for profit. Players used ALLOWED in game mechanics to get an advantage. GGG put a stop on that because it was not the way they wanted the mechanic to work, but it was an oversight on their part. The Snake can still be built to be as big as you can get it to be, and the rewards were even buffed, so I will never say never, but I highly doubt that anybody will be banned or even warned about this.

Again, this league debacle, starting from the Abyssal +1 modifier and now this, is completely GGG's and by definition Jonathan's fault, not the player base, specially because they simply couldn't care, or care to this day to put out an announcement saying it was or it is an exploit - if they though it was, don't you think they would've release a communication saying so? That's how all these companies work.

And now, because I'm tired of writing, I'll wrap up as I began, and advise you to go touch some grass and think less about conspiracy theories!
