Perma ban the streamers promoting exploits

There's a reason why people weren't banned for this obvious exploit. Perhaps there were a lot of people and they would have had to ban a lot of people. Or maybe banning the streamer would incur the wrath of them and their audience because they're influencers, and that would hurt the game's popularity and, consequently, its finances more than if they left things as is. So, it's unclear what GGG thinks about this.

You are 100% correct about this, and i dont even think many people wished for it to go so far, i dont even think said streamer would have complained about a few days of disiplinary action, and a few words here, from the team, would have helped so much, and still could! communication is key, but dont silence us here or anywhere, it totally breaks trust.

Pretty sure this will be the next thread they delete, haha

The guy exploits the shit out of a clearly unintended interaction. Then he proceeds to repeatedly mock the devs on stream. Then he admits that he's been intentionally ruining the economy, and he'd do it again. Finally, he taunts GGG with "What are you going to do about it?"

What does GGG do? They apply a fix that does not fully address the exploit, letting the guy continue using it. And they delete a massive thread with the public outcry.

Holy shit, GGG! If you really care that little about the health of your own game, I can care even less. League 0.4 is dead now, and I'm not sure I want to care about 0.5 and everything else until the official release.

Fubgun is a typical loot drop loser though, he will find any exploit possible to get a head of anyone in the community, he legit said on his stream he didn't care if he was abusing it as it was "intended", laughable at this point GGG's response to this whole saga. its ruined the league for thousands of people who have now been pushed out of the economy lol
Now that's a huge red flag that they deleted the +50 page thread about this issue. I hope that was just a mistake from a forum admin, it's a very short-sighted band aid on this huge concern.

GGG needs to officially address this and ban the exploiters, there's really no other way around it. This sets the precedent on future exploits too and I'm sure GGG doesn't want to lose players by the thousands upon thousands like this, because that is what will happen and it will be this huge stain on the game for a long time. When there's no trust from the players to GGG's capability of handling these kinds of issues, what's the point of playing when cheaters and exploiters get to do what they want?
The problem isn't that it was an exploit or not it's that there is a huge efficiency gap between doing the mechanic the intended way and the unintended way. Banning isn't the right way to solve this, it's closing the gap. Let people get 6 crystals in t15 maps. So what if they can do the mechanic faster now, you even the field and make everyone happy that they don't have to do cheesy bullshit to keep up.

Next league they're almost certainly going to make it easier to stack temples so why not just do it now, it would bring players back and be overwhelmingly well received.
closing the gap now will do nothing, as the damage is done, and if they close the gap, those who have set up temples via the exploit will still reap the rewards.. its no longer enough now.
Is the only solution to make it easier to abuse the temple for everyone? Really? Why the F should we feel obliged to abuse a single mechanic or else we'd be left behind? Where is the choice here? Oh, you can do low level temple or high level temple. But you better do temple, otherwise you won't be getting much value for your time.
I also think they should nerf the top end pretty substantially, but then you get the argument that well they've made their divines and now I can't. The option that pisses off the least amount of people right now and actually would keep a lot of people playing is to make t15 maps give 6 crystals.
To everyone who repeatedly yelled "its not an exploit"

seeing as GGG just completely patched the method out and said they are going to deal with it fully when they return..

THE EGG ON YOUR FACE RIGHT NOW TO ALL OF YOU WHO ABUSED THE EXPLOIT.

HOW DO YOU FEEL RIGHT NOW ?

So its only an exploit when GGG decides?

Okay. So for the weeks that it stayed the way it was, it was not an exploit.

Now it is.

Congratz you are correct for less than a few minutes.
Mash the clean
It is a hollow win. Yes, the "this is not an exploit" crowd got their mouths shut pretty hard. But those who abused the mechanics are still at large and the economy is still busted. The game still amounts to "do the temple fast or you are a sucker". Great EA, clearly designed to test things, lmao
