Beating a dead horse, but trials are awful

trials are an absolute snoozefest, farming them in ssf because of wanting Adorned or specific soul cores to shore up resists or spectrum jewels is easily one of the most dreaded and boring tasks imaginable. They're fine the first few times but as a repeatable content where you're trying to get the exclusive rewards they fail fantastically at providing any kind of entertainment.
temple of chaos is like the token "netflix on the 2nd monitor" activity, and not in a good way. |

" Agreed. They're not very entertaining or fun, which is unfortunate because it's actually pretty cool content as far as art & design, lore, concept, etc. goes. I think Chaos trials are in a decent place length-wise, but the enemies provide little to no challenge whatsoever. In the timed "blood" trials we're spending more time waiting for enemies to spawn than we do actually fighting them. However, many of the trial modifiers are just... dumb. People aren't making decisions based on what they do - they just choose the ones that do virtually nothing. Which kind of defeats the point. |

if anyone's having trouble completing their trials just gimme a hollar.

I've done the 4-floor ToS for the first time in this league and I must say, that it's much more enjoyable than any 10-room ToC runs I did in 0.1. It's a nice change of pace compared to regular mapping.
In total it's certainly not longer than 3+ 10-room ToCs and with a decent amount of relics it's much easier, too. However, I still think the honor mechanic is a bullshit idea (for several reasons), some of the "minor" afflictions are way too overtuned, the pathing should never lead you into a one-room only choice and repeating the lower floors for the next ascendancy is too much. |

Trials are easy af. Anyone still complaining about them is just bad in the game. First three rounds of Sekhemas are basically free ascendancies.
