This game has a similar problem as d3- it's impossible to get good items without trading

" Grats on getting the cast speed so cheaply. In 250 alts, I was only able to get a cast speed mod above 9 twice. No. Calm down. Learn to enjoy losing.

" L2solo L2notbeaburdentothegroup L2notonlyplaycheesespecs L2realisehowsillyyousound I could go on. But the narrow minded BS in your post is pathetic. Casually casual.

" You're the one that needs to learn to play, if you're satisfied with a 4L when you're at the map stage of the game. I for one didn't say it's not possible to do maps with a 4L. But..have fun with your gimpy dps. Last edited by DamageIncorporated#7815 on May 17, 2013, 11:50:14 AM

It's amazing that this thread and this huge amount of whining is still going on, when a possible solution to finding and producing upgrades on your own has been given on page 2 of this thread.
Also 5L items are nowhere mandatory to have fun in this game. Decent items do drop quite often, the problem is that you have to realize what they might be good for. and this doesnt even include the (actually) free and cheap way of getting tons of ilvl 100 amulets, and rerolling them without chaos orbs... Selffound is totally viable, but you need to have some knowledge and to be able to see further ahead. |

" This is called masochism, playing rare mods with such crappy gear. Just to give you a clue: found today 66 lvl blue map with mod +30% monster's HP which have a bonus +6% iiQ. And when you shot for +120% iiQ, you are going to suffer I bought 5L for 16 chaos in Act 3 merciless, not the best but quite cheap. Everybody can afford something like this, but actually find - doubt it. Not for a long time after you finish Piety Last edited by dima_dunedin#7869 on May 17, 2013, 12:08:50 PM

I'm wearing 75% of my stuff from trading.
I really hate those shitty new rare mods. Like it was easy to find awesome gear in the first place. |

The problem with this game is you are playing an MMO.
If you wanted to get great drops more often you don't spread your odds out amongst thousands of people. The whole "Legendary Item" bit is going to have a very low drop rate spread out amongst thousands of people, so the likelihood YOU will get whatever is more scarce because of this. I admit I hate low drop rates but I suck it up because I know how these things are supposed to work. |

" Um...no. We're playing an ARPG with public trading, and the novelty option of grouping. |

" So long as there is a public market, whether you like it or not, you are effectively in an MMO marketplace. The drops are designed to reflect this. |
