Content Update 0.3.0 — Path of Exile 2: The Third Edict
so .. i thought its really annoying to pay 3%of my es for EVERY SPELL THAT I CAST, totem/curse/essence drain/contaigon ...
now they make it 5% ?? almost double ? WHY!? i dont get it, its like they want us to not enjoy the game ? whats up with that ?? i have to sac 20% of my es for a simple damage rotation? in a game where %es regen dosnt even exists ?? jesus why!? |

GGG make ancestral totems spawn automatically upon spending 3 endurance charges by using any endurance charge consuming skills, please.. it's better if we freely spam enduring charge providing skills knowing that this will reward us with a totem now and then rather then forcing us to count those charges in addition to everything else on battlefield just to click that one totem button. NO?

Olroth, Origin of the Fall no longer spawns in Logbooks.
You removed this boss from the game? |

Was expecting druid, got much more.
I can wait for druid, i'll make monk since i never had one and martial artist monk(hollow palm)... even in diablo 3 it was fun and it's much better than diablo, it's PoE. 4 act + 3 DLC instead of playing campaign twice? f yeah Offline trade... mindblow more buffs than nerfs. LOGIN If GGG would add 40 challenges to PoE2 too it would be heaven on earth. Last edited by zsirfoka#3193 on Aug 21, 2025, 4:43:33 AM

vision is at it again, the most brutal nerfs, all crit builds have been cut to the bone. And stupid people are happy even though they haven't even reached endgame yet.

" It's literally impossible to tell from these patch notes whether things are nerfered or not, because the support gem change fundamentally changes how we build characters. If you imagine how this would impact your current builds, then yes, there's lots of nerfs. But you're not going to use your current build anymore, it's obsolete. We're going to have to do entirely new builds because of the changes to skill gems and support gems, we are essentially starting from scratch. For example, say you had a build where you used 3 skills. Your main skill might now be a little nerfed, but the damage increase in your 2nd and 3rd skill from the support gem changes might mean that your overall damage is up. There's also tons of changes to the passive skill tree and ascendancies that might increase your power too. Or maybe changes to the skills means you're better off pairing your main skill with something else now, since every single skill and support gem has been rebalanced. There's just way too many changed factors here to conclude anything about nerfs or buffs. We have to play it to find out. Last edited by MarsAstro#7928 on Aug 21, 2025, 5:18:14 AM

Nothing about optimization is concerning. Especially when some of the skills changes shown show more effects and projectiles.

" Evasion actually was the worst. Ever since they made Acrobatics useless, it's basically impossible to scale evasion in to end game. Most deadeyes just go pure ES. Hybrid at best if you want an unoptimized versions. There's literally nothing to fix this problem since diminishing returns are so strong. Armor, while not being great, had various ways to invest in to it to make your character actually pretty tanking. Real problem with armor is actual lack of life nodes on passive So we had Evasion - which cant invest enough, making it useless end game, Armor which required lots of investing, and ES which required a little bit. Kind of clear who the leader and who was bringing up the rear. Both armor and es got significant buffs this patch. But I haven't seen the passive tree.. can we get some health nodes? That would help a lot. Either way, should feel better. Last edited by DreamAgain#4820 on Aug 21, 2025, 5:23:59 AM
