also all your "last change" period is absolutely lies and bullshit, i havent touched POE 1 since last december (maybe 5 days playing Phrecia but that's all)

biggest thing that bothers me more in more is i climb acts: HEALTH BLOAT more and more enemies and bosses just turn in the glorified bullet sponges , unless you play broken build such as lighting spear... i man of honor who despises even single thought of playing meta classes, so i chose for myself to devote to chaos.

its feels really subpar considering hp bloat and chaos passives are so scatered around in the tree so i have to spend around 17 points on useless and boring stat nodes just to get to them, but there is a thing: i dont feel that will be enough damage, like its already feels miserable to get any gear because there is basically no way to target on lvl white base weapons and not enough currency drops as well as general drops ( well from last patch it got kinda better, but not much) so i have to rely soley on passives dmg buffs which definaly not gonna scale well in the act 6 or 7 (i know that they are not out yet but sighs are there that it will not get better at all) because of how much they scale up hp...

i bet this build nerf train will continue and continue, but they not gonna budge on mob hp scaling, they will just use that when they release something new to hype up this good op thing after hype dies down they just will nerf that class or gear or passive in the sub basement and repeat again and again, untill they gonna get forced to do something about this deathspirall that poe 2 in by jonathan and co own team. but it will be all to late.


i am not gonna leave, because i like to find weird endge case builds that are impossible to nerf just to spite GGG and jonathan himself
OP Im close with maybe 850hours and made same decision. I am not reading all these pages.

I am sure the White Knights came in to say BYE already.

I am saddened with this game and what it is now.

Hope thing change to be more the fun and rewards that .1 was.

Some of .2 is cool it is not all bad. But for the most part somethin feels fishy to me when I play .2 like there is AI to prevent having fun at all costs.

-A bunch of new uniques, fine but nothing too exciting, almost all are leveling trash and we have yet to see some real build enabling or transformative stuff.

And in the meantime still no pass on the lame ascendencies (bugged chayula monk hello ?)
Weak loot shenanigan
Balance so bad half the playerbase is playing one single skill.
Boring late game.

I sure am complaining a lot, that's true, but over the course of 8 month I was expecting much, much more from ggg


Find it funny you're mentioning the balance when the reason things aren't being balanced is because of people like you and everyone here that complained when their build was gutted. Everyone complains when balancing is done during league so they opted to do it during economy resets now (aka new league launches) for the children.

I also don't know where you're getting 8 months from, Early Access released in December not October.

In this little over 5 months since Early Access launch we've gotten more content in that time span then 80% of games out there release in a year.

That's part of a strategy to address maps feeling too large. Before they reduce the size of maps, they want to populate the maps with more things to do. Part of that work is to add more strongboxes. Strongboxes feel too slow to open, so they're removing pre-open friction.

0.1 lasted for 4 month, which is the standard length for poe 1 league as well now so I'm assuming 0.2 will also be four months. That's 8 month between release and 0.3.
Now sure 0.2 is not over yet (at least not for everyone) but it's pretty safe to assume we're not going to see major content addition till next league, mostly some qol, bug fixes and minor balance adjustments, still better than nothing to be honest but I was expecting content to be released a lot faster, considering ggg's statements
"EA will last 6 month to a year till release and the game will have as much content or more than poe 1 by then"
At this point it just seems impossible they can hold this promise.
Also they did say poe 2's EA would not affect poe 1's release cycle and well...we saw what happenned.

As far as balancing build, I'm pretty sure no one would ever complain about giving a little boost to lame skills/ascencies mid league, and we all know there's a ton of them.
Completely breaking people's toys on the other hand...obviously that's not going to be too popular. And for what ?

This and/or make player characters move faster.
Walking around at snail's pace is just not fun
