Is it just me or this 10% loose XP too much?

I think you misunderstood that defence tech from poe1 :)

Sure. But dont STEAL my progress. A progress i already made gets STOLEN. It gets STOLEN by a 1997 mecahnic.

Just so you know, ARPGs emerged in the 1990s, and it seems that playing a genre dating back to 1990 doesn't bother you too much.

I love Tetris but I will never play the original Tetris again. I play Apotris and sometimes Rosey Retrospection Tetris which is a romhack that adds much-needed QoL features to Gameboy Tetris.

The Past has many good things in it, but also some bad things and we should aim towards getting the good while avoiding the bad.
omen is not gonna save you unless you have alot of those. this lag kills you and if your able to finish the map you get sht drops.

I've been stuck on same level for a week now, Everything goes alright during mapping then some sudden death effect or off screen sniper shot kills and Lost XP again, it's so f.. frustrating playing without ability to level up, no good drops that can help to advance, trading is not good on consoles, so it's going ABSOLUTELY NOWHERE, is there any future adjustments to death effects or XP?
There is no way I can reach level 90 in current state, no reason to start and play another character if I'm going to get stuck on low tier maps without any helpful drops.. so much frustration [Removed by Staff]

The higher you go, the worse it becomes.

My threshold for when the game becomes enjoyable is 95; after that, the game becomes frustrating. Before patch 0.2, it was manageable, but now the game is completely unplayable.
Thats the thing which made me quit. Being one-shot by some thing on the floor is really frustrating. And omens just dont seem to work from time to time.
If they are such fans of D2 mechanics, why not add a corpse of yourself to pick up that regains a majority of the xp that were lost? That way you can maintain your desired difficulty while at the same time giving the players the chance to reclaim what was lost and prove they deserve it.
91 and 94 is usually the sweet spot of getting your build online for min-max, then about 97 for proper minmax and 100 for ultra min-max.

I don't care about losing EXP from death because I have amelioration, only losing 2% which I can easily get back even at lvl 95-96. I died few times because of my absent mind of not micromanaging my stunbar while riding rhoa. But other than that, I never died once to some bullshits in 0.2.

Play a good and efficient build, that is fast in movement speed and clearing packs, also can do some ranged damage. Get enough defense and you'll breeze through.

What is that ? You play a slow and non-screen exploding build ? Well, thats it, thats the problem, you play a non-optimal build in the endgame.
