Is it just me or this 10% loose XP too much?

I've been stuck on same level for a week now, Everything goes alright during mapping then some sudden death effect or off screen sniper shot kills and Lost XP again, it's so f.. frustrating playing without ability to level up, no good drops that can help to advance, trading is not good on consoles, so it's going ABSOLUTELY NOWHERE, is there any future adjustments to death effects or XP?
There is no way I can reach level 90 in current state, no reason to start and play another character if I'm going to get stuck on low tier maps without any helpful drops.. so much frustration [Removed by Staff]

Nah, its not just you, theres an army of people not exactly impressed with the games "pace" and "punishment" vs "time spent" + "reward".
GGG - Why you no?
You can stash 50 Omen for 3 div. Then it is acceptable.
And buy another bunch of omen for probably 10 div and have fun for a day. There are new ones.
Want to go through the act of gambling your own item? Calculate 100div on top for each. Do that 10-15 times.
Dropped only one div up to T15? Well, f me, right?
Last season i found it more bearable. This season with all the one shots from white mobs and difficulty to get higher tier maps for better xp gain i found it really annoying.

Forgive my ignorance as I am still in Act III in the campaign. Can this issue be mitigated by using lower tier Waystones? Is the consequence for lower tiers less XP and less potent gear? Unless it's some one-shot mechanic from a boss or a rare enemy, it feels like diminishing returns instead of just playing a lower tier, no?

I ran some T10 maps yesterday in the hopes it would be more relaxing, with a level 91 char and still got one shotted by white mobs. Sometimes i just get overwhelmed by like a hundred white mobs and if one manages to stun me or i missfire my first spear then things are over if i can't awkwardly dodge my way out. Finally rage quitted this season for good.

I kinda know what i need to become more survivable but it means literally replacing all my gear with something from the trade market. I find that thought as depressing as dealing with my shitty grinded gear.
Once you reached T15, there is no going back.
In fact, you want to play exclusivly T16 waystones with +monster level mods on the map.
One reason is the xp. The other reason beeing lv81+ items. Everything else is wasted time.
On top, you still get killed by the same stuff in a T14, you died in a T15 to.

Word. I say go for it personally if you still have any gumption left for this season and just see how you feel with the results because while it may not be an intrinsic fulfillment of finding it on your own, you may feel better just in a different way.

But if you’re dying more in high tiers, that sounds like more wasted time as opposed to playing lower tiers and maximizing the grind and potential loot output because you’re killing and progressing more, maybe enough to get the currency to buy something you otherwise weren’t blessed with by RNGesus and it’s enough to put you over into the next tier?
Well, the only "blessing" you get from rngesus will happen at itemlv81 and above.
