First 4 negative reviews actually say nothing constructive.
One of them is a 1k hour player that says the game sucks...
Seeing a bunch of salt around not having broken .1 builds anymore....
Someone saying a build requires 100 divines....
Whining about mage builds being dead.... no you just dont know how to build anything without broken archmage and grim feast....
honestly 99% of these seem to just be whining/vulgarity/knowledge issues and not an indicator of anything.
its wild, ppl with 500+ hours giving negative review for a game thats in early access, why spend 500 hours playing a game you hate?
Well i have 900+ and gave a negative review. almost all of those Hours were in 0.1 so yeah. I like 0.1, but the changes in 0.2 were not enough for me to even play through teh Campaign. They severely neglected how the Campaign plays.
Area size as an example only got fixed after a lot of complains by people after 0.2 when it was universally known that areas were too big. And tehy stil missed several areas who are problematic. That should have been one of the first things they fix in 0.2, because everyone in the new league has to play through it. Instead they focused on completely arbitrary stuff.
In the end the Campaign takes simply to long to complete. Remember you have to do the Campaign every league again. I get bored by repetitive stuff i already know really really fast. I cant for example read a book a second time or listen to an audiobook a second time.

ya bro cause the game forces you to stay online to facilitate trades so a lot of ppl have hyper-inflated playtimes, myself included.
Endgame "juicing" is not fun. I do not want to spend 6 hours finding the right tower setup, farming currency to trade for tablets with quant so i can juice a few maps for A (small) CHANCE at "good loot" finally dropping.
This ain't it, bruh.

+1
After getting to maps, reach Lv. 90+ and start running T16 maps... most the time is AFK on hideout canvassing the trade site for upgrades.
IF I played 1k hours, 700 was idle shop browsing.
PoE 2 0.1 had good foundations, sad GGG stripped what was good and focused on the bads in 0.2.

You always had the option to play SSF or HC. If your experience was frustrating, the game gave you the means to change it. You chose to play SC Trade, arguably the easiest way to play the game, and now you blame the game for being boring. You made it boring.

Oh really, do you want to get us started on the crafting system ?
Poe 2 crafting is one of the most boring, tedious thing I ever forced myself to do in a video game.
I'm still doing it, but I hate it.
No way I'm ever playing SSF if this is basically my only way to progress

You missed the point mate.
It's not about the game being easy or hard because of SC or SSF. The game appears boring for some people, regardless.
It's a fair assumption to say that the game is about progression for most. And here is where it hurts, because the progression in PoE2 is basically "pull the slot machine lever".
There is no agency, very little plan to think about, progress can feel hit or miss. You just brute force the RNG, and that's arguably not so fun, if not just boring.
Don't mix everything because one game mode may look superior to you. All modes play the same game (layouts, towers, builds, skills, all different reasons on top as to why it can be boring to someone).

Cheap one shot mechanisms and zero rewards for your time is why this game WILL fail.

I completely agree with you on the crafting being nonexistent and basically just a slot machine. But then that should be the core of the complaint, should it not?

That's fair. I interpreted the comment to mean that it was the "idle shop browsing" that made it boring.
I completely agree that the crafting being nonexistent hinders any kind of proper progression and that makes it boring. I suppose the shop browsing is just a side-effect of trying to find some solution. Fair, fair...

On the crafting front, I think the idea is for new leagues to introduce more ways to craft with higher deterministic likelihoods so it's only a matter of time
