Please make the campaign harder

Softcore is for casual players with limited time to play. You asking to make it harder is a big FU both to the majority of SC players and HC players who may find the game difficult enough as it is because they won't be "dying multiple times in the same zone" they'd die once and be sent back to the beach.

Sorry you can't have your cake and eat it too.


I don't think casual players that play a game where there is some resemblence of difficulty would hate that game. Most games have some difficulty to overcome, even a children's game like Mario.

This game in the campaign literally has 0 difficulty. It just takes long to complete. That isn't difficulty.

Players won't die multiple times per zone once they overcome the difficulty.

I think they should balance the game around softcore, not hardcore.

Ok. How would the game be harder for you?


Make the stats of the minions in the zone high enough that I fail to clear the zone unless I have good strategies and good gear.

Right now, it is like I do whatever and I still succeed. If I am doing something suboptimally, everything just takes longer. Longer isn't harder.
That barely makes sense. You want only be able to surpass a zone IF your gear/strategy is good enough, while you - right now - surpass the zones because your gear/strategy is good enough.
You are technically just asking for "Kill me multiple times in each zone until I am allowed to enter the next".
Why would this appeal to anyone else? Ppl play ARPGs for the progress and not because they want to be stuck in zones.

They already balance it around softcore, but they can't balance around your inability to choose between 4 difficulties.
I think a more fitting discussion is a similar one to what's been going on in other communities, more recently the Monster Hunter community; There isn't really a good way to make things challenging or difficult for vets during the story because it would almost immediately be too much for any newcomer. No one should be surprised that a person with multiple lvl 90s finds the new game, based on the game they've played hundreds if not thousands of hours in, is surprisingly easy.
Most of you people don't even understand the difference between more challenging content and hardcore lmao.

I've never seen more cooked people then in this community.

Maybe it doesn't make sense to you guys, but I can't be bothered to further illustrate this, so I am not gonna reply much after this one.

If you don't have good gear, you wouldn't go to the zone that is killing you over and over, you would go to a prior zone to farm gear, maybe a zone with a boss to kill that boss a bunch of times.
And/Or you can read over all the skills and try to come up with better strategies. Or maybe even trade during the campaign.
Right now, I don't need to do any of this.

It is the same way where if you would die over and over in a tier 16 map or an endgame boss, you wouldn't keep doing that map, you would do other things to become ready for that map.

Go SSF HC if you need difficulty. Campaign is only there to get to endgame and farm.
