What the Hell Happened to Gamers?
" I'm saying, League of Legends introduced kernel level anti-cheat one day. It ruined the game for me. But I didn't go to the reddit to cry bloody murder about it. I just uninstalled the game, gave my feedback and went and played something else. Aka, non-addict behavior. I liked the game. I wasn't reliant on the game for regulation. Which is what you're seeing with tons of people here on the forums absolutely losing their marbles over this patch. Claiming the game has completely failed. There was one post about how GGG's hubris messed up his families enjoyment, because he bought them all early access and they went and CHANGED the game in an early-access. Oh lord.. How could GGG do that? Basically monsters I say! lol. These forums are entertaining at least. |

" Why would you play a game from a Chinese company.. That has a program in it that can let them access your computer, it's files, memory, anything? That's like asking for trouble. The fact that they choose the most aggressive, and questionable route possible for anti-cheat, made me not want to play the game. Ruined it. Left. ?? " Oh yeah. I still love the game. But it did 'ruin' it for me, in a sense, it did something I didn't support, didn't like, but I just left, and no hard feelings. Not like my life depends on the game. Eh, just my 2 cents: Do you have like "fishy" data on your HDD/SSD or something? Like drug dealer? " Yeah, you can do that, but I just prefer to err on the side of safety. Nothing about anything needing to be hidden. Just that when you look at the world today, Cyber attacks are happening everywhere, all the time. Why would you risk installing some kernel-level program on your computer from another country, especially one with a questionable background like China? You'd be surprised at what just one disgruntled employee could do. Huge companies like Sony are getting hacked almost yearly now. I do banking on my computer, I have my personal life on it, personal information. I have 3 dozen accounts attached to me that could be hacked. Don't tempt fate. |

Is this truly early access tho?
They are marketing updates and giving them a name, selling mtx, introducing $5 mystery boxes, running race events, creating a standard and "league" versions of the game, giving community interviews for updates, refusing to balance the game/make changes/introduce content outside of large updates etc etc |
