I like how everyone tries to act like this game is difficult.
It's not. It's not even close. It requires some game knowledge, and a PHD in Googlefu. That's it.
PoE 1 gained a reputation for a game people could play one-handed. PoE 2 is only 'slightly' harder because it's more punishing. And in a way that drives players away.
Which is what you see in this thread.
Are you on probation? What's the cause may I ask?

This game will literally die out with fewer players, ending like diablo 4.

I don’t know or care at this point if the developers will see this. You have made me delete the game. Got my monk to level 87. Can’t get better gear to improve my build. Either from trading or what ever the #+¥• you call that crafting system. Can’t get my last ascendancy because I keep dying. I can’t gain any more levels because I keep dying. I read that the developers want friction in their trading system. I hope they get it in very specific ways. You got my money for early access and I even bought some tabs. [Removed by Support]

They all play twitch/yt builds and most of them RMT. So naturally,they think they are good at the game , and everyone else who actually plays their own way is a ''noob''
They wouldn't be able to reach the endgame with any non meta class/build , let alone complete t5 map with just any gear they find , and points randomly invested into tree (which is exactly how it was ANNOUNCED to be in PoE2 EA pre release hype videos) That's what ''play your own way'' trully means.
They are so skilled at PoE2 ,so much , they have few stash tabs full of leveling items.
Its like that on every site,of every game that ever existed.
People who pretend they are good at the game , always belittle those who have issues , instead of actually helping them. Says a lot about them . They are always out to boost their ego , even with lies.

What are you even yapping about?
He deleted the game and basically blamed the game, instead of asking for advice/help.
Here are enough ppl who wouldn't mind spending time and helping him fix his character, but that's not what he asked for.
You always have a way to get better gear, not being able to get the 4th ascendancy with 87 is actually normal and so on.
But making his "I am done" post a "everyone else is actually a noob and is bad at the game" is weird.

Not everybody has fun only theorycrafting the whole game and never play it actually. In theory it is easy to defend any bad design. If you have lived through it, pov's change...

How can you not improve your gear from trading? You can get the best items in every slot with trade. I think your issues is that youre not getting enough currency for trade because maybe you dont play enough.

I'm a new player, and unfortunately this reply has confirmed my growing suspicions.
I've 115 hours and I'm in a similar predicament to the OP - albeit not so cross about it. But there is no skill ceiling as such, it's just a time sink? And the primary game mode is played through a web browser; aka the trading site.
Well, at least I've confirmed that. Fair enough - it's not like £21 was a lot really. I reckon I'd do a few iterations of the leagues, tapping out at 85-90. I imagine there's a whole end game out there waiting for me, but ... well, I don't have the time to find it!
