I don’t know or care at this point if the developers will see this. You have made me delete the game. Got my monk to level 87. Can’t get better gear to improve my build. Either from trading or what ever the #+¥• you call that crafting system. Can’t get my last ascendancy because I keep dying. I can’t gain any more levels because I keep dying. I read that the developers want friction in their trading system. I hope they get it in very specific ways. You got my money for early access and I even bought some tabs. [Removed by Support]

1) google a spec that 99% of people are using
2) RMT gear from off-site page full of bots
3) kill bosses in 1 second

There is no need to play a build most ppl are playing. You can clear the entire game with every single class and many different builds, especially without breaking the "Term of Service/Use".
Furthermore, if you know the mechanics you don't need to kill bosses in only a few seconds. The only boss that is actually overtuned when playing him normally is Arbiter 5.

So, I don't get the OP's issue. Ascending the fourth time before level 90 is obviously doable, but it is normally not a thing so early on your first character unless you get really lucky with gear and gems or know exactly what to do.

Playing someone else's build is a good way to learn about synergies and game mechanics before you try your own. I just went through the game using crossbow with galvanic shards and gear i bought from merchants and it was kind of a breeze.

If you want to play your first character blind, that is commendable, but it was you who chose to grind your face against the wall. There are actually a lot of interesting builds out there that work and are not the meta

You can always get better gear and make minor adjustments.

Every little upgrade will help with end game.

Yes, trading is big part of the game and crafting is huge downfall so far. But that doesnt mean you cant progress.

I like how everyone tries to act like this game is difficult.

It's not. It's not even close. It requires some game knowledge, and a PHD in Googlefu. That's it.

PoE 1 gained a reputation for a game people could play one-handed. PoE 2 is only 'slightly' harder because it's more punishing. And in a way that drives players away.

Which is what you see in this thread.
