That's an issue with your inability to translate a simple enough analogy.

Because if you want to make the case that a Titanic reference only "makes sense" if literal water is flooding these forums, then you have way bigger fish to fry than analogies about a video game.

You can't really believe I think it's about literal water. It's about the fact that if we're all still here, the Titanic hasn't gone down, and if it happens month after month, then it still hasn't gone down.

It's a bad analogy that basically says you're yelling on a boat that's still floating, doing as intended.

The least they could do is un-merge SSF and trade chats.

Why is so many people so stressed?

We got a patch just two weeks ago and before that they had vacation so silence was expected, before that they gave us updates shortly after EA came out. So they definitely are working and giving us new stuff regularly. Other games takes like months to even release small updates.

I believe they are currently working on the bigger content to give us, like new classes, acts etc and I wouldn't be surprised if we get it february/march already which is huge. If it takes longer that is fine as well and I assume they will give us smaller patches before then in that case.

I didn't expect much from an EA so I am pleased with what we have and I'm still addicted playing daily several hours. I reroll chars, try new builds, attempt learning to trade etc there is a lot to do to keep you occupied and goals to strive for which is more than I expected. I just expected to enjoy it for 100 hours then move on until new updates release but I'm at 400 hours now.

Look at No Rest For The Wicked for example, it's in EA and right now for a much longer time (since april 2024) you can enjoy it for like 60 hours or less then you are done, nothing else to do and they release updates super slow.

This is my first time playing PoE so I take it as an opportunity to learn everything before release, so when release happens I am full of experience and ready to do some crazy stuff. So that whole thing makes game more fun to play because game has a learning curve so you constantly learn something new everyday, I have something to look forward to.

Lower your expectations and if you find the game boring or anything less than fun move on and wait for update, play something else. If you played the game for 100 hours or more you already have your moneys worth so you can't really complain you definitely had some fun at least for what the game currently offers. You can of course give feedback but whining and complaining makes no sense.

I'm sure most of you who are now complaining have played more than enough and I'm sure you had fun during that time, so to now turn it around and say the game is in a bad state because you did all the content and feel like there is nothing left to do is weird. Did you forget all those hours of fun you did have? Every game goes into a stale state after you played it for a long time, but again that is when you move on to another game and wait for updates then come back.

Agree with OP. Horrible customer support and the roadmap seems to be focused on the 1% no-lifers who reached the endgame after the first week instead of tackling underlying glaring issues (e.g. trial bugs, or giving us our poe1 stash tabs).

The roadmap is focused on the more unfinished part (endgame) of the game (and acts 4-6, but those likely release all at once much later).

And I'm sorry, but not having specific PoE1 stash tabs in a brand new game being a "glaring issue" above almost ANYTHING else is absurd.

just seems like a sort of thing people would say because they are upset at the game knowing its not actually true but theyve convinced themselves theres enough plausibility to the appearance of it that they can throw it out there as an accusation in a spiteful flame war against ggg who they think somehow deserves to be attacked, and that justifies saying it even though its obviously a completely ridiculous idea.
