" You can not trade on any league you choose. You never HAVE to trade. People choose SSF for the challenge. Personally, I do not get it, as this is a online ARPG but hey, some people just hate others OR want to be able to say "I am SSF BTW" If you want loot bonus's on SSF, that absolutely will never happen under any circumstance what so ever. Like Trading league is making the issues worse since they're constantly just Blasting ("zoom zoom 1-shot") which is making the content more difficult for the SSF's and it gets out of hand...why? Because the game devs need to Balance the game, hence periodic Patches. And these patches have to "respect" those end-game/mappers in a way, as they keep pushing and pushing -- so what happens? Essentially, the overall content becomes more difficult for the SSF'rs as we continue to get outpaced even more from the above constant changes to the patches as well... What happens next..? You get a playerbase who are just willing to be Masochists essentially honestly. Then you will dwindle to nothing...just like PoE1...and as others have said in some other thread somewhat recently...a playerbase of like ~8K or so for PoE1 now. " because theyre all playing poe2. poe1 had its peak record player numbers just before poe2 launched, it didnt dwindle, it was consistently growing every year. 2024 had the highest ever player counts in poe1. the second highest was 2023. third was 2022. fourth was 2021 etc etc etc the poe player base is still growing, its just in the poe2 client now. I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

I play SSF and I agree/like the idea of inproving drops to compensate for lack of trade. great call.
I'd also appreciate that we drop the SOLO and leave just the Self-Found (allow party play), as discussed here: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3693746 |
