Dear GGG: PLS Consider SSF LOOT BUFF To Compensate TRADING...Details Below :)

Solo Self-Found (SSF) is still going thru the same path as the Traders, correct? (in terms of mob difficulty, etc)

SO when Traders get all their Bought gear, they can breeze thru that same content!

How to compensate this for SSF?

Like Trading league is making the issues worse since they're constantly just Blasting ("zoom zoom 1-shot") which is making the content more difficult for the SSF's and it gets out of hand...why?

Because the game devs need to Balance the game, hence periodic Patches.

And these patches have to "respect" those end-game/mappers in a way, as they keep pushing and pushing -- so what happens? Essentially, the overall content becomes more difficult for the SSF'rs as we continue to get outpaced even more from the above constant changes to the patches as well...

What happens next..?

You get a playerbase who are just willing to be Masochists essentially honestly.

Then you will dwindle to nothing...just like PoE1...and as others have said in some other thread somewhat recently...a playerbase of like ~8K or so for PoE1 now.

It should be optional. There should 3 league types (aside from the SSF variants):
1 - Normal, which has no such insane penalties on death.
2 - Masochist mode, which is currently what the game is.
3 - Hardcore Masochist mode, the current Hardcore mode.

Hm..

Maybe do something like:

They detect whether you actually Trade. If you do, then can turn on that "masochist" mode for those Traders.

They detect no Trade. Then You continue the "normal" mode for those Non-Traders..!

(Some folks just don't like to Trade.

Personally, Trading just trivializes the game.

Relying on Trading as a crutch to get past content is just overall terrible lol.

Isnt the "hardcore" league just the guys that log out before they die? Why is it called "hardcore"? Is it because they are forced to use a logout macro to stay in the league?

There are plenty of games where SSF is the default game state but here it is a challenge league

You want to play SSF but you want trade loot and also no death penalty

Do you want Lilith as an end game boss as well

What do you mean by "further dividing modes play"..?

SSF will still be separate from Standard/Trade.

The Loot Buff proposal for SSF won't add something new for the player to choose to play for a mode? SSF is built-in.
