Dear GGG: PLS Consider SSF LOOT BUFF To Compensate TRADING...Details Below :)
I only play hcssf and never trade in arpg games.
The slower progression, ruthless drops and large maps make PoE2 an absolute slog for rerolling chars. I can't see myself ever playing PoE2 if no significant changes are made to progression/pacing. They're asking for an even larger time commitment to the first game that already asked too much. I can't see them making the kind of changes I want from the game. Also not working on PoE1 sucks, hire people. |

" I beat the uber bosses in less than a week on hardcore. If anything, there is not enough time commitment and the game is too fast paced |

" No - you did not beat the uber bosses on hardcore SSF first week... Show us the video and the build. | |
Blatant lie, both games are as difficult as you want them as well. I actively avoid build guides, meta skills, streamer content so I can play the game.
Just saying 2k hours of poe and still have a build going in Kalguur vs. quit game with second build PoE2 as game is tedious and boring. I was super hyped for PoE2, and it was meh.. I couldn't delude myself into thinking it was good. |

I'm not reading all of that.
SSF can migrate to Standard at anytime; not happening. |

Would love to see a "trade with friends" league... or just a league where guild members can trade... the rooster is fixed for the season, so noone can leave or join any guilds once the league has started and trading should be restricted within the guild only.

I have a more radical suggestion: I'd like to see them remove the separate SSF "sub-leagues" from the game entirely.
I continue to be convinced that centering trade as the default for engaging with the game, and balancing around the assumption that trade is something that everyone enjoys, is a mistake. It prevents GGG from providing trade enjoyers with a trade system which is functional and enjoyable to use because they have to protect the integrity for the experience for non-trading players using "friction." I think they should just make SSF the default setting. Deprecate the existing SSF modes, and give everyone an SSF=ON status flag or something at the start of every league, which gives SSF-balanced drops. Trading flips that flag to SSF=OFF, at which point drops revert to trade-balanced values, and you're crowd-souring your items. Add an Omen of Exchange which drops once an hour (or two) for SSF=ON players who are playing with other SSF=ON players, so that they can share stuff among themselves, and you've not only added Zizaran's bro-SF to the game, but you've also cleared the way to replace the existing, archaic, Diablo II-style trading system with something that resembles a more modern marketplace approach. Imagine: No more need to do illicit arms deals for basic gameplay materials. No more arranging to meet your buyer (or seller) down by the disused pier at the waterfront at midnight to get your deal done, or at least no more necessity to do your trades that way, because your end-stage capitalism mini-game now includes an actual marketplace. Just do it, GGG! Give us proper, balanced SSF gameplay, and also expand the exchange to include every tradeable thing. Stay sane, exiles!

" And how hard is it to change this and prevent SSF to migrate to Standard? We have games doing that and it works fine. Really naive take tbh. |
