Loot should be buffed across the board, there's no need to limit it to SSF. Especially for the worst offenders like greater jewellers.

" I was reffering to this part but maybe i misunderstood: " I don't like the idea of creating more categories and sub-categories for playstyles. I play SSF because i enjoy progressing on my own through the same game balance (combat and loot) that everyone else is experiencing, regardless of how quickly anyone does it. Even though i dont trade, it still makes the in-game economy / value of items feel better. It's just a prefrence though. " OK, I kinda see what you mean. That was copy/pasted as an example idea. But do you have an issue if SSF had a Loot Buff? Players would still just play in SSF -- no need to play in a diff mode! " GGG made it clear multiple times over the years that they don't want SSF to get any special treatment. The problem is, drop rate in PoE1 was enough to play SSF comfortably, like i never reached endgame while still having half my gear from act 3, and i usually had 5 link at least. Sidenote also never spent more than 6 hours reaching it, but that's another story entirely. The drops are just not good enough no matter what league you're playing.
