1 death on maps is hurting casual players and adds nothing to hardcore players

People who don't want to deal with one portal should try another game as there is no option a probaly will not be in near future for more portals. Hardcore (also SSF) in the other hand is completely optional mode for those who wants extra challenge which is not me at this moment. Removing XP penalty or allowing more portals per map is like playing poker without real money. Tension just disappear and people will do crazy shit without second thought because why not. Game has rules. Accept them or play another game. It's that easy. I'll rather have 1 portal and better balance of one-shots than six portals without further balance.

Your entire quote is just "delete feedback forum"

Everything is as is. Every change asked for should be reverted to December 6.
The main purpose is to avoid people using portals as a defensive layer. I think 6 is too many but probably 1 is too few. I think we should be able to use gold to buy an additional portal on a map. But if a map takes more than 2 portals something is inherently wrong with your build, playstyle, or you are trying maps with affixes like elemental penetration which bricks most builds.

And I expected this exact reply. I don't want to delete feedback forum. Many players provided very valuable informations and ideas. But this whole "one portal bad" nonsense has nothing to do with feedback. It's just inability to accept fact that my build suck and I need to improve.

i personally think progressive decrease on portals would be better per couple tiers.

Exactly what people said about PoE 1 in the past.
And almost every season.
Over and over again.
They abso-fucking-lutely need to get rid of this one portal bullshit, besides the negative feedback loop of map sustain it can cause, is tremendously demoralizing losing drops and losing mechanics you're hunting because the game bullshitted you with another completely unpreventable death (unless you somehow have 6k life and 80% all resists and 20k armor). If I wanted to play risky, I'd play hardcore. Experience loss is annoying enough, but at least that I can kinda tolerate.

Every game isnt made for every type of player nor should it be. Look, I dont go onto D4 forums and complain because its too easy and trivial, because getting to 100 is braindead and gives you no dopamine, etc... I just stopped playing the game. Its not for me, and thats OK. It has its niche. POE has its niche. A lot will definitely change in POE but the game isnt, and shouldnt, try to cater to every gamer on the planet. Not only is that impossible but it would gut the soul of what makes POE a good game for people who actually like the game.

If you use a resurgence omen (7 exalts or so) it significantly will reduce the chances of dying unless your build or playstyle is completely scuffed, or you are trying to run content you are not ready for yet.
