This thing is gona flop

Is OP actually Rod Ferguson? I think the game will be fine but not please some of the POE 1 players.

Not coming from POE, nether Diablo, from a casual ARPG player, i was looking this game a "revolution genre game", what i see is a pure garbage game with the most toxic community ever. Good "revolution" experience haha

Well, the most toxic players are those constantly complaining about 1 portal in maps and xp loss on death and calling PoE 2 garbage. If you are casual then go play casual games. PoE 2 is not casual game.

Many players know that this is essentially a beta, so they played a bit and might come back later. Sure, some bought it and will never come back, but I'm sure most of those who paid for the game will come back at one point before the release. Maybe when all classes, ascendancies and acts are released?

This is what I'm doing as I'm currently bored with the endgame, and I am burnt out from leveling new characters by going through the campaign over and over again, so I need a change of pace. I played for 150+ hours (no way to really know, but judging by how I no lifed this, it's most probably over 200), so it's fine for now for a game with less than half the overall content it should have at release. I personnally had more fun with PoE2 EA than with the original PoE beta for sure.

I will let GGG make decisions based on what they think is best for the game, whether it's based on the overall feedback or not. It could end up being a disaster, it could end up being great, who knows.

It's early access and you expect it to be a completed game? Why does every person make threads expecting it to be a fully finished game, it's honestly laughable. As I said in my previous comment, the game even its current state with its bugs is an insanely good game for EARLY ACCESS. You can say it should be done because you paid for it, whatever you want, but early access is early access, point blank. They were not saying this is a fully finished game when it was coming. They've said and stated it will improve and that it will have it's issues and from what I can tell, it is improving, either wait for the game to have a few more patches, [Removed by Support]. This thread and these comments are the equivalent that no games can improve, they have no substance and are almost completely pointless. You can complain, but having nothing to draw off of, other than "game is gonna flop" or is just bad is purely nonsensical. Come back when the game is still here in a year with 200k+ players with your [Removed by Support] comments

I think it's great.

Besides mechanical 1 shots like the hags I'm all for it.

They could buff armour a little, but after that, awesome game.

PoE2 is without a doubt my favourite game ever.

Player retention is also crazy good for a game in early access. To put it into perspective:

Manor lords lost 90% of players in 2 months after release on EA.
Pal World lost over 90% of players in 2 months after release on EA.
Enshrouded lost about 80% of players in 2 months after release on EA.

not gonna say its a flop, but 90% in 2 Months isnt impossible
