Why no one speaks about the optimization ?

0 problems with the optimization having a rtx 3060 a ryzen 5 8400F and 16gigs.
Play mostly all high except for shadows. Barely any fps drops.
Performance is a little rough.

I run at 3840x1600 @ 144

Even with dlss its goes down to 80ish fps. Flame wall is part of the problem.

Amd 9800x3d
Asus 4080
G skill 32gb ram expo II
Lg ultragear 38" ultrawide 3840x1600 @ 144
Windows 10

I told my wife to brace yourself... A 5080/5090 may be needed to solve my performance issues.
Thx for the feedback guys .

In all my life as a pc gamer (almost 32 years) , i was buying mid range graphics cards .

I could play anything with my 6650XT in 2K in the past 2 years with everything almost in ultra .

And ofc to mention the Diablo 4 that everyone loves ( :D ) that didn't have any performance issues at all .

Now i am struggling to decide if i have to go with a 4070 (no ti no super as the simple one goes for 600 euros here) or an 7800xt (550 euros).

And for what? To play a game like POE2 ?
I know its a great game overall , but it doesn't feel or look like a AAA game that need top tier gpu in order to run proper.

I laugh with the official system requirements :
RECOMMENDED:
OS: Windows 10
Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-10500 or AMD™ Ryzen 5 3700X
Memory: 16 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX 2060, Intel® Arc™ A770, or ATI Radeon™ RX 5600XT

Really ?
I had a +30% CPU , +25% GPU , +50% RAM and i am getting lower than 30 fps ..... with your recommendation GGG ?

I had tried Geforce now , the game plays better than my previous setup , but imagine having input latency in this game

I was 80 when i sold the pc , i am 78 now cause i just die in end game maps ( and no i didn't get worse , i was lvl 80 with T7+ maps and i had tried T6 maps to see how geforce now plays)

TL;DR
I might have to wait and see if they will optimize the game , it's the only game that i might play and i will not spend 2K just for a game that is in early access

GGG please optimize the game if you want to keep your customers

I don't get this thread. If you are not happy with the performance on your PC, get a new one. If you're a PC gamer you're supposed to upgrade every couple years anyway. In a couple months the new 5090 will be available, get that, you'll have no problem.

what nonsense

the game is badly optimised, it's a downside of it having its own engine, most people aren't going to expect to have to spend 1500 on a new video card every time a new game comes out
CPU:
Intel Core i5-10600KF CPU 4.10GHz
GPU:
Nvidia RTX 2060 12 GB
RAM:
16 GB Crucial Ballistix 3600 MHz DDR4
SSD:
Samsung 980 250 GB PCIe 3.0 (up to 2,900 MB/s) NVMe M.2

With my hardware game is not smoothly and changing all setting (low, hig, medium, upscaling) doens't change nothing.

Especially with some mechanics game starts stutters, like Ritual.
These days I did some tests and I'm using a build with Shockwave Totems and since the beginning of leveling the performances were better, so the problem is also in the spells we use, especially if they are a lot of flames or when we use a lot of minions.

The optimization problem is random, some have high-end hardware and they have some problems, others don't.
Others have low-medium hardware and have no problems and so on.

PLEASE STOP TO SAY NONSENSE THINGS LIKE "CHANGE YOUR PC"

The problem is not in our hardware, the problem is GGG optimization.
Remember Stalker 2 on Day One? It was unplayable.
Was it our PCs' fault? No.
They patched it and now there aren't those problems.

If you don't have a problem stop posting "I don't have a problem bla bla" because it's not helpful.
You should support those who have problems or just don't post anything.

We are PC Gamers but there is no need to change hardware every two years unless you are rich or obsessed.
A 5000 series will costs thousands of dollars, will you give me that money?

There are minimum and recommended requirements.
If you had read everything you would have understood that a lot of people have issues with hardware better than the recommended ones.

Stop trolling or grow up.

In my opinion they should update the requirements but this is not necessarily the case.
They just need to improve performance, as I said these problems also happen in other games.
After some time, performance improves.

The problem is that we are scared that they won't fix this problem quickly, otherwise why the big patch before the holidays was a patch for gameplay and not for performance?

Are you serious ?
So a Ryzen 7700 cpu and a 6650XT with 32GB DDR5/CAS30 and a nvme with 7000 read / 5000 write , that can run Stalker 2 in 1440p is an old PC and i have to upgrade?

Well if we have consumers like you mate , that's why the gaming industry doesn't give a F... to optimize their games and the hardware industry rip us off every year with small changes into hardware .

Well i am off this sh1t , i will not get anything and i might come back if they get serious

Two thousand euros for a pc to only run POE2 and this is normal , pffff

Don't waste your time replying to him, he's definitely a troll.
Recommending changing hardware every two years or spending thousands of dollars just for the latest Nvidia video card to play PoE 2 is definitely troll.
