It's not a "claim". GGG is nowhere near a AAA company, and this game COMBINED with PoE 1 is nowhere near AAA-levels of funding and cost. The entire net worth of GGG doesn't even add up to a SINGLE AAA game title development cost. Them being "owned" by tencent does NOT mean that their budget and net worth is now magically...tencent's net worth lol.

And it isn't even close, which is what's so funny about your posts.

Put the shovel back in the shed. If you live in the US, the snowstorm isn't supposed to start until Monday, you won't need your shovel out again until then.

I strongly disagree with the original post. For an early access , the game is in a good state. Its stable, the mechanics work, the campaign is liked by most. The rest will be worked on, as its supposed because it... is... early access.

Taking long holidays after the effort it must have been to deliver this version is tottaly understandable and probably neccessary. Burn out is a real thing, you cant do good work if you are over tired and sick of the subject.

With respect, poeple like op dont really understand early access. As soon as they get the game, they judge it as a finished product and expect a finished product. Everythign must be fun and perfect or the devs have failed.

It is early access. it is less then a month of early access. Devs are humans, who need their holiday. Relax and wait for changes which will come.

For me and i suppose for most poeple, releasing before Christmas/New years was a good thing, becasue its a holiday period and most poeple (aka casuals) got a bit more time to play. IF i hadnt read these posts on the forums, i wouldnt even think that anyone could think there is something wrong with taking holidays and resuming work/communiation in 2 weeks.

I feel like poeple who write these posts dont have an experience of working at least for a decade in high stress and requiring peak intelectual capability. You cant push yourself past a certain point for long.

It also seems like a perspective of a person who can play 4+ hours every day, so they have done everything there is ingame, cant wait for changes/improvements. This is a very skewered perspective. for most poeple, who work 8 hours a day and can play maybe 8 hours pers week, time passes differently.

Bad planning really by GGG. But as a post I made a while ago, they are just rolling the dice with the community. They know many of their mechanics are bad, but have no time to fix them. Why would they fix them? It would let you actually progress into the end-game.

They know its bad, so they are artificially slowing everyone down as much as possible. Hoping people will not quit out right.

What is the worst? The lack of any real communication. Everyone just wondering what they will nerf, not what they will fix. Nerfing the cast on stuff was a joke compared to what builds came after. That showed us all that they don't really have a plan for this current version past slowing us down.

Just have faith in the process which is horribly flawed at the moment. But don't expect this to be something good for another 6 months or so.

I heavily disagreed with this post at first and thought it was ridiculously over the top. It still is but now I agree with the sentiment. It's been almost 3 weeks of complete silence. Who allows an entire company to be on a month vacation at the same time? Especially after a major release?

How big do you think GGG is? They have like 40 main employees and like 20 actual developers and programmers lol Were they honestly supposed to just skip their holiday over an early access phased game?
