Who is not doing their 3rd trial? I'm not until they change it.

They took two of the least favorite game modes of poe 1 and made everyone have to do them in poe 2. Is ggg the cable company from South Park that gets off on the suffering of their customers? yes. yes, they are.

Apparently. I like Sanctum and even I think it's horrible in this game. Ultimatum is an overtuned mess, and the third trial coming is rumored to be based off Trial of the Ancestors league which is yet another divisive league that many players hated. So yeeeah, if GGG decide to be stubborn and keep these trials in while trying to "balance" them they're gonna lose a lot of players.

Hopefully they rework how you gain ascendancy points.

I also don't think those are the best mechanics for ascension, but once u understand that u gotta grind or trade some Honour resistance relics it gets really easy. Just get 75% honour resistance and almost nothing really hurts u anymore. Also it's just like Sanctum in PoE1, practice makes it way way easier. They obviously don't expect us to get the 3rd ascension within 1 or 2 runs.

Ultimatum on the other hand is just imbalanced atm. U gotta outgear it to one shot the bosses, otherwise u'll have a bad time.

trading ruins every game it touches, because that means the devs use trading as an excuse to have gear/loot as awful as possible for the individual experience.

I did all 4 and uninstalled. The pain is not worth it. Can't see myself EVER doing it again either. Def not 4 times a year. Not a chance.

I'm doing them all, Don't expect to win right away.

For sekimas farm relics that suit your playstyle and get it in a better state for sucess, be ok with dying to a boss a few times if you don't watch a guide on it.

For the chaos trials idk, im going to do those after as additional content.

I'm working towards it with my ranger. Gave up with my Infernalist due to bullshit mechs and poor visual clarity. Time will tell if I get better results on a second toon, but overall ascendancies should not be mandatory to complete the campaign and shold be far more accessible than they are with current mechanics, at least up to points five and six.

U don't have to trade for the trials. At least I got all my relics myself. It's just an option if u don't wanna farm them urself or are very unlucky with the drops. But overall u have to know that PoEs item system is balanced around trading and not the other way around. U might think it's a lazy excuse but it's quite the opposite.

Me too. The whole trial system is trash. I just can't understand who designed this system. It kind of makes me wonder if they can benefit from those carrying service because otherwise the whole system is just suicide for the game.

With the buffs to melee I managed to do the 3rd ascendancy with 99% of honour intact (lost 5 out of 8000 honour). It's not that hard anymore to be honest.
