Allow us to replace (overwrite) runes.

This should be an easy quality of life item GGG should quickly and easily be able to implement.

I personally agree with overwrite/overriding runes, but making them be "Stuck" in corrupted items.

This keeps some permanency if the item is corrupted but allows you to flex on a non-corrupt piece of gear.

Disagree with not allowing it for corrupted items. Added cost is fine though.

if its like the crafting bench, the only thing you could change on corrupted were the sockets/links, which are now on the gems, I don't see why it should be allowed for corrupted

I would agree with that if you were restricted from adding runes once corrupted. Regardless it would be a win if it's only on non-corrupted/mirrored items.

Yep, please give us the ability to replace the runes in gear. I would really like them to explain the big-brain idea of why they created that restriction.

You can say that about crafting materials as well. You used your last exalt on the item, but then you dropped better item? Let's reverse crafting, you get your exalt back. Or corruption did not get your way? Let's revert it. No. You choose when to use crafting mats, and you loose them and you choose when to use runes and you loose them and socket. Your choice matters a lot.
That is a beauty about that - you don't see the future and you choice can be wrong - what's bad about that? I don't get why people are so afraid of making bad choices.

That is a strawman argument. You don't know the outcome of exalt slamming or vaaling items and they are meant to be inherently luck based whereas runes are supposed to be a form of determinism for your gear. TBH I am going to stop replying to you because you barely play the game and do not know what it's like (nor care to understand) for people who do actually play.

150 hours in PoE 2 is barely playing. Sure.

As I said before, for me it is fine, if the cost will be gigantic.
You can have your opinion which can be right, but if someone has opposite one, it is wrong? You must be fun in all discussions.
I just gave my point of view, which is - I prefer system in games, when your decision are either permanent or reversable at very high costs. I do not mind bricking my item or character.
Again, in my opinion, it is part of the game. You have to make a decision whether to use that in the item and make it permanent or not.
So it should come with great cost or some RnG as well. E.g. there is special orb for that. And you can apply that on the item. And you have a chance to either destroy runes in the socket or destroy sockets themselves. And orbs for making socket should be a bit more rare than they are currently. So that it is not that you can take out runes whenever you want - you still need to plan for it.
