Allow us to replace (overwrite) runes.

yes, put a gold cost in it, destroy the rune that's taken out, just let us fix some small part of our gear

" What about when you bite the bullet, know the consequences, and place the rune in a piece of gear that you have been running around in for ages only for something to drop which solved the issue. Now you are overcapping res and no way to fix it until something else drops. Currently runes are very common and yet we are hoarding dozens and dozens of them for no reason. Allowing us to replace runes solves quite a big QoL flaw in the game especially for SSF. Make Things For Smile!

As others have said, should be a salvage bench option. Because the GGG that giveth also taketh away, and because I think there'll be more powerful runes down the line, you could either save the item or the runes, but not both.

" Yep tbh I haven't seen anybody advocating for saving the rune. Just adding a smidge of flexibility to our gear. Make Things For Smile!

Agreed. A bit of extra flexibility would help here.

Runes need to be able to be overwritten. About cost, I don't think there should be one other than losing the previous rune/soulcore. If there is, make it just gold. We could have a "crafting bench" that only does meta craft, for currency cost. E.g. some random meta craft ideas out of the blue: pay 1 ex for the next ex used on the item to not to be a certain tag (block). Pay 1 something (or just gold) to remove all runes. Pay 20 vaal to make the next vaal not brick the item (can only keep it as is, add socket or add enchant). |
