Poe 2 - Analysis. Result of Professional deformation and degradation of game design?

"
In Poe 2, you barely feel the passive skill tree. You barely feel that you are getting anything from it, and objectively so, because the game was developed with a different design at its core. Poe 2 is currently the opposite of Poe 1, and I don't understand why every developer sooner or later comes to the point of starting a war against their own audience. This is not my opinion, this is just a dry analysis of the mechanics and decisions made by the developers.

I don't agree with this at all. PoE 2 feels very much like a PoE game, and I can definitly feel a powerspike when I put that all important point into my passive skilltree. More then I did at PoE 1.

I honestly think you have a serious case of negativity bias. You're dissappointed that PoE2 is not like PoE1. Because of that you experience everything that's different in a negative way.

This part of your essay basically confirms that that's the case:

If that was the case, why are 85% of people liking the game?

Honestly, this first couple of days were rough. But since the loot drop patch, the game has been an absolute blast. I've been blasting through the game, and I'm feeling more unstoppable then I've ever felt in PoE1.

I think the reason for this isn't due to thinking anyone's financially unstable, it's due to people enjoying this direction of balance being a significant minority.

It's not about PoE2 being a bad game, cause it's not. It's a great game. The balance choices are unfair, unfun, and are making the majority of people want to leave, though.

where did you get that info? all the statistics i can find say otherwise and none of the poeple i talk to want to quit the game. quite the opposite actually. most praise it as the best arpg ever made and its only early access with 50% content.
please get out of this negative forum and reddit bubble and look what the actual majority of people is thinking.

we lack at least half the skill gems and weapon types, which will increase the build possibilites exponentially.
new skills to the existing weapons will also be added. at the moment we only have 12 of the 36 ascendancies.
and of course it is a hard game. anyone who has played poe1 since the early days knew what theyre in for. poe1 used to be a challenging game and GGG always stated their game is hardcore and not made for everyone. that has not changed and is the main reason why their games are so damn good. they have a very precise idea of their target audience. they just wanted to make it more accessible for NEW players not for CASUAL players, while also adding new challenges for poe1 veterans. and i personally think they did an amazing job at that and i am extremely excited of what theyre cooking up next.

Any of those people you've talked to have their build ripped to shreds after hours of work and hundreds of currencies used? Personally, I don't want that experience. I'll wait until the game is released and GGG, hopefully, only patches every league instead of every day.
POE1 used to be as slow, annoying, and with few skills as POE2, but that changed.

i myself and one of my very casual real life friends played the cast on freeze comet build. i sat down for one hour today and adjusted my build. dealing damage with eye of winter now, which has a bit lower clearspeed but waaaay better single target damage. also uses way less mana now which allows me to use mind over matter very comfortably now.
i myself have a shitton more fun now in comparison to the mindless one button frostbolt spam bullshit before and i am glad GGG nerfed it. also group play is a lot more enjoyable now. only one person can freeze each mob and therefore triggering CoF wasn enjoyable in groups.
