Im talking about the guidelines you digitally sign when you release a game onto early access. the guidelines you only see when you release an EA game
The ones you linked honestly need to be changed to reflect the actual guidelines, because they are not accurate. they are incredibly misleading to new devs who think theyre ready to launch into EA. its one of the reasons we see a lot of delayed EA announcements for indie games. they arent given the actual proper information until they sign up for EA
Wither we are missing half the game is irrelevant, as per steam, new content is considered "additions", not changes
Honestly it doesnt matter one bit. Its not for you to decide what level of changes are accepteble in any stage of the game. Huge changes can be made even after release if developers see this as necessary. EA games have such chanes often. You guys seem like you didnt play any. Honestly arguing with you is like talking to american.

No. In poe1 league characters are moved to standard after league ends. Void leagues are usually some special event and this characters are deleted at the end. Both cases are different from EA.
I believe you and I are getting confused on this as my point is that GGG is taking the same development route that they did with PoE1 for PoE2.
During the closed beta and early open beta phases of PoE, characters and items were often migrated between different legacy systems as the game underwent significant changes hence legacy migration.

We are literally paying them to test their fucking game. They need to respect our goddamn time.
Nerfing an entire character into the ground and then not giving the free respec THAT THEY PROMISED US after major nerfs is demonstrating that they don't give a shit about our feedback.
If I'm pouring dozens of hours into a character and having it completely invalidated with no warning whatsoever and no compensation then I'm not going to bother with making another one. End of.

Can you explain the mechanism of how would that play out?
1) You want respec to be fully free for the entirety of the Early Access duration, which should be for 6 months to 1 year.
2) You would want them to give out respec only when a specific build gets nerfed, how would that work? And even if it magically did, why do other players get left out?
You understand the word "consequence", right?

They are big boys who can go poopy by themselves and do not need your help.

They said "we are looking for testers"? You bought an "Early access" to the game for them to get actual players to test the game on.
I am not here "protecting" ggg, I am protecting the product which I am going to play for a long time when it releases, I don't want silly queries like yours to spoil the game.
You have been a poor decision-maker with the Meta/Broken build you picked up after watching a YouTube video, even when you know that they already nerfed two major skills/interactions previously.

But I kind of agree with your argument about build balancing and respec, I don't think respec should be made completely free, EVER, no matter the reason, the cost of respec should be balanced as needed.
