"POE 2 is Ruthless" - Kripparian. The only ruthless streamer.

EDIT: For those who struggle with reading comprehension -- I'm a POE 2 enjoyer, and i'm not struggling. But my friends will not be able to hang AT ALL, and neither will a TON of players... That is all i'm saying :)


Made a great video showcasing the in depth similarities between Ruthless and POE 2

In addition he goes into detail about how many aspects are even harder -- Like losing 15% experience loss upon death... worse even.

Losing boss, map, contents, and juice if you mistime ONE dodge-roll, a few seconds of lag, etc etc.

He's pretty confident that the game is so overtuned 90% of good players won't get past about T8/9 waystones.


The worst thing is again -- extreme loss of defenses and health on the tree.


The campaign and gameplay is excellent -- the tuning is absolutely batcrack crazy and nonsensical.

I cleared a T6 today, I am almost at the point where I can get my "good player" badge!

Most people watch Kripp play ruthless but won't play ruthless then tell us how we should have had ruthless balanced.

You saw the same thing when dark souls games would release. Miyazaki was a gem. Hope Jonathan is the same tier of legend.

I say this because I referenced Kripp earlier on the forum and of course the know-it-alls told me off for it.

Kripp is one of the all time ARPG legendary players. He is a world class build maker too. If there is one streamer you should listen to, its him.

Either GGG can keep it as is more or less, and lose 95% of its player base within 3-4 weeks, or they can engage with the actual majority of players.
They'll have all the data of course.

For me, I hope they find a way to make everyone happy.
Maybe a ruthless non-hardcore mode like it was at launch is the best idea.

I'm so sick and tired of elitist gamers sitting in moms basement playing 15 hours a day telling my how I should enjoy the game.

If I prefer "zoom zoom zoom", that's my prerogative. It doesn't make my opinion of the game or what constitutes fun more or less valid than yours.

I like to be challenged sometimes. But not all the damn time. Sometimes I like to relax, blast a few maps, and I'd like to do that in POE2.

If you don't like that, how about suggesting for GGG that they keep the current style in a game-mode, rather than telling me I'm a bad gamer or wrong.

Kripp is very good at math and combinatorics. He's considerably less good at being a games reviewer. His interests in games are VERY narrow.
