"POE 2 is Ruthless" - Kripparian. The only ruthless streamer.

Sad thing that they can't just dismiss all his points with "git good"

T12 btw. Get good.

Also, stop the streamer worship. Think for yourself.

are you telling people to think you're way of doing things and thus negate thinking for themselves.
Ehh it kind of is. The loot drop buff was a little too far but. Still is pretty ruthless.

Cope loves cope, after all.
I say this because I referenced Kripp earlier on the forum and of course the know-it-alls told me off for it.

Kripp is one of the all time ARPG legendary players. He is a world class build maker too. If there is one streamer you should listen to, its him.

Either GGG can keep it as is more or less, and lose 95% of its player base within 3-4 weeks, or they can engage with the actual majority of players.
They'll have all the data of course.

For me, I hope they find a way to make everyone happy.
Maybe a ruthless non-hardcore mode like it was at launch is the best idea.

I'm so sick and tired of elitist gamers sitting in moms basement playing 15 hours a day telling my how I should enjoy the game.

If I prefer "zoom zoom zoom", that's my prerogative. It doesn't make my opinion of the game or what constitutes fun more or less valid than yours.

"But you have POE1 already". Yeah. I do. And would like an update to the 12 year old game, named, I don't know, POE2?

Not "Elden path" or "Souls of exile".

I like to be challenged sometimes. But not all the damn time. Sometimes I like to relax, blast a few maps, and I'd like to do that in POE2.
Sue me.

If you don't like that, how about suggesting for GGG that they keep the current style in a game-mode, rather than telling me I'm a bad gamer or wrong.

I also think GGG will listen a lot to his feedback
Kripp helped PoE franchise a lot in the early days and Chris has mentioned how instrumental his feedback was to the success of PoE

I'm surprised at your guys reaction. Not only exceptionally toxic

Having an opposing opinion is considered toxic? This is not a healthy or constructive way to approach anything really.

I appreciate this is the OG POE forums and we're guests here, but POE Ruthless has nothing to do with POE2 since it's a vastly and fundamentally different experience.

POE2 is more difficult in general compared to POE Ruthless. Loot, monsters, bosses, everything. POE2 is way more tactical however. The moment to moment experience is wildly different and more rewarding.

I understand it may be a losing battle since again, this is the OG POE forum but that's my opinion as a POE2 player.
What makes me laugh is the constant non-sense about player retention and the cognitive bias towards it.
If GGG does not buff or make the game easy, they will lose XXX amount of players.
My god there are 100 games release per day and besides few exceptions(very mainstream) it goes down for all of them even the best ones.

What matters for the shareholders is the amount of revenue they do, if they can milk it longer, well good for them if not well short profit.

Regarding Kripp, he has valid points like all of the players than think a bit about the game they play but well, he is not (like the other streamers) THE voice.
Kripp plays card game and have issue with his hands so a game like POE2 will not make it for him.

Moreover all these guies are giving kind of end game review when the game is definitively not finished, this is an early access and you can see even with the passive skill tree where some nodes you can pick are useless or just taken from POE1.

They even did not balance ascendencies trials or some of the rare mobs and kept them "as is" from POE1 when anyone knows it should not be there based on how the game was built so things will change anyway.

On a fun note, Kripp that seems loved by the post creator likes a lot D4 :D
I don't even play PoE 1 leagues anymore because of all the constant nerfs. I only play PoE 1 Standard because it doesn't make me reset and do everything over again to make a decent build. I don't have the time, energy, or patience to start over every league.

Ruthless is a horrible mode imo. It's essentially making an extreme difficulty version of a game and labeling it as innovation.

To then apply this mentality to PoE 2 and thinking everyone will enjoy it because the devs like it is really tone deaf and out of touch. I don't want to even bother with PoE 2 anymore because it's just annoying. Let the sweats, tryhards and streamers have their fun. It's not for me.
🔷🔶🔰🌀✨Standard>Leagues✨🌀🔰🔶🔷
🔷🔶🔰🌀✨Make trade like the Grand Exchange from RuneScape✨🌀🔰🔶🔷

Let us zoom out more. Bring back 32:9, Heist Alt Quality Gems, Gear Enchanting, Prophecy, Metamorph & Crucible. Stop removing content from the game. Stop nerfing everything. Stop making the game slow

YES, this. So much, this! People trying to back up their POV by suggesting if they don't get what they want, 99% of players will leave. It's a pattern that some people really love to use no matter that game.

Thankfully, we do have data to oppose that. Look at what happened to D4. That game got easier and easier, and more braindead with each patch, yet people were still suggesting if it won't be even easier and faster everyone will leave. Well, the game is super fast and super easy now, loot is raining from the sky. And everyone left because it's an awful experience.

Imagine. God I wish. Just a 10 second youtube video on the official channel with Jonathan sitting in that chair as he says just those words. Lmao
Git gud

Mmm yes and no, D4 generated more than a billion in revenue regardless, D4 bad is getting old.
When they will release paladin, they will sell another 10 million(i am VERY conservative) easy.

You won't kill Mc Donalds or Coca Cola.

Not defending D4, it is a corporative game looking only at profit, i hope GGG is not only looking at that and want to keep the game healthy, meaning opposite of D4 fast food dopamine style.

We will see now that the game is more mainstream, let's see for how long.
If they can keep settlers number at the release of each league, would be already good.
