"The Vision TM" is going to kill this game. And GGG will prioritize profits over anything else. They will just make changes based off the numbers they see, because if they don't this game will be about as popular as Ruthless. And that's bad, cus every game company wants to make profit off their f2p game, especially if its a live-service game that's supposed to hook in players every 3 months.

Atm ain't no way anyone will tolerate the current game and its 50-hour campaign multiple times a league lol

And there are already builds that are completely breaking the game in half. It's going to be completely solved and everyone will flock to the meta builds that abuse every possible mechanic and interaction. Because that's the only way to have fun in this Ruthless 2.0 "game".
The game is so good but there are issues that needs to be addressed. For example the ascendancies are just a toxic mechanic that they need to fix. Doing the sanctum on a melee character feels really bad and I completed a turn 7 ultimatum but didnt get any points (that is just a bug).

All in all the game feels good, I'm zooming through maps, teleporting and blowing up screens of enemies so the game can be very fast if you want it too be.
"Ruin your masterpiece". It's a beta test that will probably play completely different by release. This kind of of cheerleading is just bizarre rn

I'd rather not have anyone else's concept of what is "fun" shoved down my throat. A lot of players --and I would guess the majority of players-- find their fun in ARPGs in the loot drops. Deterministic crafting could go into that bucket as well.

In my idea, there are two options:

1) Enable me to heal up between damage spikes.

2) Rather than enable me to kill higher-level mobs, make me kill them *faster* -- increasing loot drops.

The latter point is why, to me, D4 failed where D2 has always succeeded. Even in D3 Inferno (like first weeks of release), I had great fun running a Rend/WW Barbarian -- great mobility, and I could stand and facetank all kinds of stuff -- although killing a boss took me 15 minutes (luckily I had a Wiz friend most of the time who had great DPS but needed me in turn to hold aggro and keep him alive... but I digress!)

SO... One-shot mechanics, off-screen damage dealing, mobs being *much* faster than the player character, etc. are not exactly fun to most of us.

As a number of players have been told before: if *you* like it hard, play Hardcore and get your heart rate up.

If you are dodging for 10 minutes or you only do 2% of the bosses health every hit the problem is your build and it requires no discussion around it, it requires you to fix your build

Either your weapon/supports or tree is just horrifically put together

Considering attribute requirements for gear & gems, being relatively low level, and having enough defenses to not die in 1 hit I don't really see how I could so drastically improve my build to not have that problem.

I suppose my weapon could be better but as is it's a rare weapon with decent stats that's only 1 tier below my current drops, and aside from that it's been a problem the entire time more or less.

Clearly I'm just terrible anyways though.
