Haven't had a single issue with bosses. They're well designed, moderately challenging, and very satisfying to defeat.

Got the same experience as you personally. I feel like POE2 requires you to do things we were not used to in POE1 so early, like crafting, having a proper early game build and gear.

Maybe GGG could have more "tutorial" content in act1 to make sure people understand it is important this early in the game to be doing those things.

Or maybe having a form a "tip" for challenging bosses, where we discover that a boss is weak against that thing or is strong in this particular way. For exemple, they could find a way to tell us that if we have good cold resist vs the wolf, the fight gets more than manageable.

Some people say that PoE2 takes a lot of skill and talent now... What? Lol. It's almost easier than PoE1, just too slow and tedious. And a bit unusual. I didn't find any hard things in PoE2, it's just about a lot of HP. I'm definitely sure I don't want to play this sloooowlooongboooooring campaign every league... This game was made for people who like to play campaign 1 or 2 times and then forget about a game. They will be SO satisfied with this "epic" campaign...

I want skills that actually do something. Having to dodge around a boss fight for 10 minutes to chip away at their health isn't a fun gaming experience.

You can say skill issue if you want but I've seen plenty of people who enjoyed PoE1 run into the same issue. For the people having fun with this game, cool, glad you found your game.

Mostly agreed, I like that bosses aren't just pushovers but it's really not fun to do about 2% HP every 10 seconds to pretty much every boss, or sometimes less than that in some cases; rare enemies are sometimes pretty bad in this regard too.

I'd like to think my build and skill rotation are both fairly good for what I have to work with, or at the very least not trash tier, and when I see other complaints about bosses being HP sponges it makes me think I'm not the (majority of the) issue here.
If you are dodging for 10 minutes or you only do 2% of the bosses health every hit the problem is your build and it requires no discussion around it, it requires you to fix your build

Either your weapon/supports or tree is just horrifically put together

Exactly. Once we have in-depth guides, those people who complain will stop because they will follow step by step and not do dumb shit.
It's not some groundbreaking "difficult game".

It's just slow with inflated HP pools of monsters and very low player damage for most builds.

I didn't quit playing "because it was hard".
I was playing because I spend hours breaking my spacebar dodgerolling backwards using a basic bolt attack 15 times per white mob.

It's groundbreakingly boring, if anything.

Don't listen to the whiners who want a one-skill cookie clicker.

I hope they equally ignore everyone that makes dishonest logical jumps from "a couple things such as XYZ need some tuning" to "you just want a one skill cookie clicker"

Yah this is what makes a lot of these posts seem extremely disingenuous.

If you think the game needs tuning for X or Y reason it's because you want it like Diablo 4.

What people need to realize is that there's a scale.

Let's say the scale is 1---5----10

You have PoE2 sitting at 3. PoE1 at 7. Diablo 4 at 10.

Anyone saying they want an increase to drops or lower difficulty in some way: The reaction is "wow you want this to be PoE1 or D4." When the reality is there's a gap between them large enough to allow for changes and still not put it in the same realm of PoE1 or D4. No nuance to people's unreasonable responses.

Black & White thinking is a symptom of a highly active Amigdala, the "reptile brain" that governs fear. Back in the "hunt or be hunted" days before civilisation, it kept our ancestors alive. Saving your life was worth sacrificing perception of nuance in times of danger. We've inherited that brain even though civilisation has made the world much safer than before. So don't expect the terrified to be capable of discussing minor tuning. And do acknowledge that "passionate fans" is the polite, inoffensive way to describe the terrified.

Thank you for actually describing what you're doing. So many complainers aren't doing this most basic step to distinguish themselves from complete scrubs.

It's in the game already. Seems like people don't pay attention. Also, there are not enough guides yet, and my guess is the majority of players are used to follow a guide which makes their life easier. Here, you gotta use your brain for a bit and for many it hurts. As simple as that.
