Ascendancy is beyond cancer now

I dont think you have ever played an RPG then if you thought that campaign was fine. Overwhelmingly, every class gets worse as you progress.

"I dont think you have ever played an RPG." What the hell are you even talking about, who even says that?

I took my time to farm from time to time, also strengthen my character etc. I never encountered any real issues. I treated every act like going from normal > nm > hell in D2.
skill issue. im playing with 2 people who havent even played poe 1 and they are deleting the acsendancy boss. also these two people dont even know how to play this game. one of them didnt even grab the act 1 spirit until the end of act 3.

cool story bro. ask them what their experience is/was like after they try the third ascendancy. which is what we're all up in arms about
I feel like these were popular in PoE1 because of the rewards you could get, but sanctum mostly worked well as optional content when you could build a character around doing this specific type of thing. Now that its mandatory it just doesn't make sense to have it implemented in the same way it was in PoE1.

Sanctum has the potential to be a great lab replacement if they reworked the hit mechanic, and maybe shortened the floors.

Ultimatum would make more sense as a random atlas node rather than a mandatory progression path.

That being said, I have to agree that both of these leagues feel forced into PoE2 when they probably don't belong here.

got my 3rd one done in 3 tries idk get good.
The third and fourth ascendancy are so lame. Like some mobile game retention team bean-countered how to keep players in some weird dopamine gambling loop and their plans were fully implemented without any consideration for how the players might go about having fun.
