Ascendancy is beyond cancer now

I lost all my honor from a single hit from the boss.


I think GGG wants full glass cannon build so you can cheese the boss before they cheese you and waste an hour of your time. It now makes perfect sense why the defensive nodes in passive tree sucks!


The reality is outside of the tuitorial trials in normal, the absolute vast majority of playerbase would never be able to unlock full ascendency.

I couldn't even complete the first trial until level 44...

Haven't had a single complaint about the game up until having to attempt to get my 5th and 6th ascendancy points, first I did a trial of chaos with 7 trials and turns out either it's bugged or for some reason that's not the one you're supposed to do to get your 3rd ascendancy, then I attempted a sanctum with 3 floors and got my honor melted by a trap that somehow has splash damage when hitting a wall in one of the gauntlet rooms before 2nd boss and failed there when trying to get close to them to deal damage.

I would be genuinely shocked if you're actually supposed to do a trial of chaos with 10 trials as the alternative for not even your final ascendancy

Yep it's awful.

Could not have asked for a worse solution to a problem that wasn't real.

Thoroughly enjoying the game, but I have to agree that getting your Ascendancy is a PITA. Actually found myself putting it off.

All of my Friends are struggling with these Ascendancys, its legit 0 Fun being gated behind this stuff
There should be fixes asap

I didnt have problem getting first one but the chaos one is kinda stupid. I get chimera boss and he just keeps jumping around spreading dots everywhere. I couldnt even get him to half hp. That arena just sucks some major balls.

like you can have the honor system, but when it go to zero, just decrease my reward for the end and let me finish it, so i can get my ascendancy point. i am a warrior, and i try to play a totem build, but i literally got no dps and melee, i cant be roller forever or just block forever for a half hour fight in this level 22, ppl said you should finish act 3 and come back to finish it, but if in that case, why open it on act 2? i can slowly tank the boss and kill it slowy without the honor system, but not with it. pls give warrior a chance to win.

No they have not. In most cases: more defense = less offence aka doing less damage. An almost ALL mobs in this trial do AOE damage which cant be blocked/negated. Your defenses are useless. Went with my shield/block warrior into the trial with full honor. Room 2 i had 54/600 left because you have to get close but you get totally wrecked by aoe.

I am not playing melee anymore until this bs is fixed and the honour system removed.
