You have alienated your own playerbase
" One person's basic mechanics is another person's kryptonite. I would contend that BOTH sides stop flinging poo at each other and try to be constructive and possibly understanding. In the case of you being "new to PoE1 or 2" it doesn't matter. Sure maybe you haven't spent much time or money YET but if you love PoE2 wouldn't that change?? On the other side of the house ignoring others having difficulties and just replying "Git Gud" because you [seemingly?] out of hand dismiss their complaints isn't helpful. |

It's possible they fell into a trap I did a few times. If you die multiple times in a zone that may mean you need to take things slowly. If need be do the D1 "two-step" ... take a couple of steps .. stop .. if nothing tries to kill you take two more steps. Repeat as necessary.
FYI: Surrounded by armored beetles with low-ish lightning res and no "crowd control" to speak of will end your day in a hurry :) If it matters I also had to learn how important "raise shield" is when getting BOMBED from enemies. Raise shield, approach slowly, bonk on head :) Last edited by KingAlamar#4071 on Dec 9, 2024, 6:53:07 PM

" That completely depends on how invested they will be in developing PoE 1 I don't think PoE 1 only enjoyers will be as invested in the game or will be throwing money at supporter packs if the development slows down for PoE 1 I'm thinking PoE 2 will work out to be much more enjoyable for most people though It's still early We'll see where this game is in 6 months or so |

" The game will be a ghost town as soon as the full campaign is released if not sooner. All of these steam forum / 10 hour positive reviews are here to beat a couple bosses using a streamer build and never even look at playing the seasons. | |

I thought the Support Gems were to bolster your existing skills to make them stronger. Quite a few on my Sorc build have pros and cons to them, not just boosts. Like Fortress, for example. It will cast Flame Wall into a circle instead of a line formation, but will give (I think) 30% less damage that way. Nearly every Support Gem I have has a negative side effect to it, which is not helping me gain power very well.
The game is EA, I get it. But what is bugging me is the latest patch created all kinds of crashes and issues, and that was 18 hours ago. This is not the time for GGG to go radio silent and just leave this version stay for a while. There needs to be patching up a storm, and I'm not talking about NERFS. |

" If it matters I believe the trick is to find a combination of "downsides" that don't significantly impact you while the upsides can add power -- or if there's a super cool interaction .. may be build-enabling. |

" Wow, a sane response? What are you doing here? Begone, paragon of sanity and sensible discourse! You have no place in this flame war. Well said, though. Patch Notes 3.15:
Fixed a bug where players believed the game was playable. This has been corrected and made retroactive. Patch Notes 3.19: Fixed a bug where players adapted to 3.15. This bug cannot be corrected, so we have implemented a 90% reduction in item access as a punishment. |

Honestly the only way PoE2 can work imho rn is if they add something like maps from level one if one character on your account has finished the campaign, because aint noway im gonna be doing these acts as much as the hundreds of times ive done them in poe1
Add Scion To PoE2

Can someone explain why playing through the campaign is bad? You're doing the same thing at level 1, doesn't matter if its a map or the campaign. I played through D2 countless times, I didn't need to unlock the Chasm of Chaos and try to hit Uber level 12349.
Always seems like people are saying "I hate the game I just want to do this" Okay, but its still the same thing. "the premier Action RPG for hardcore gamers."
