50% of the time it is stupidity on GGG. Crafting doesn't exist in POE. Gambling does...and the house always wins.

" The email address I use for FB is not used for anything else, so even if their servers get hacked, the email address won't be useful to them. The password I use for FB is also different from the one to access the email account, so they won't even be able to login to the email account which has no other use than FB anyway. |

Well....double damn..went to read the forum as always, only to come upon this thread, which managed to scare me a bit, and I proceed to nervously check my characters.
You can only imagine the horror when I try to login and receive a "incorrect password". Fearing the worst I reset and voila, all my chars are naked again(apart their flasks). I have seen the signs but I ignored them so don`t do like I did: my bro knew my pass and it did not raise suspicions when I saw two stacks of alchs gone 1 week ago. Then, got a mail from Yahoo telling me someone has been logging into my mail form the US (but I failed to read it properly where it said that it was a successful attempt). Either way, my pass was not the same as that for the game but a very close variant. I can`t say it wasn`t my fault but I still feel pretty sorry for my chars and my currency and rest assure that I wasn`t by any means rich. Had a few uniques and good gems from my bro but nothing spectacular. Bottom line: get your password strength to maximum I guess and hope for the best. |
