We wanted PoE with better graphics in PoE2 not god awful Darksouls dodge combat

The thing here is that we actually want to enjoy POE2 as we do POE1 and while i dont think its bad rn and even more if we know its an EA, and changes to make it better will come, the most things that i liked about POE1 arent here, and while i dont mind if i get other thing that i can enjoy i kinda feel like all the good parts are lacking while the bad part its still here, not really angry bc im still having fun, but kinda feels strange.

Man, I love PoE1, but with all the power creep it has devolved into an auto-clicker. In PoE2 I actually have fun engaging with core mechanics, not just making a build in Excel and then playtesting it for 20 hours to see if it works, while listening to a podcast and watching a movie, and bookkeeping the amount of divines/hour that I get, until I come across an enemy that has bigger alpha than my lifepool*defences or higher dps than my regen.

In PoE2 I feel that prototyping and building can be done on the go, I'm having fun playtesting it, and if it doesn't work I can grind forward, using my own human skill to overcome the difficulty I've imposed on myself by fucking up building.

This is only my perspective, and I appreciate that you are dissatisfied and want to stay with PoE1. That is totally valid and I respect that. But please, respect the other part of the community that is having fun, and speak for yourself, not for all of us.

Poe 2 is much more fun and rewarding like it is, i pray GGG will keep things like this, is really a masterpiece

After D2, I was excited with PoE and got into when it was still in beta a decade ago. But PoE never got into me. Over the years, I've tried and tried on and off. Still PoE is not my game.

As for PoE2, so far it gives me different vibes, a more mature and pragmatic approach. In another words, it is a dream came true for me, and a sequence/improvement after D1 and D2.

I absolutely did not want PoE1 with better graphics. This is exactly what I wanted.

Glad for you, but you can see how you aren't exactly bringing forth any sort of helpful tips to help others enjoy the game. There is a communication problem here and I think its just that everybody is really bad at communicating.

Based on the level of discourse on the forum I don't think most of the users could string together a sentence to describe what helped their enjoyment of the game or even what they did enjoy about the game. Fundamentally either we want to be helping other users enjoy the game or we don't, and if we don't why are we on the forums at all?

They said poe 2 is not for poe 1 players, so we'll have to put up with it and wait for poe 1 leagues for half a year at a time.

I've seen this thrown around and it's not what they said. All they said as it would be a different game. The last thing GGG would ever do is abandon their entire PoE player base by saying "ya this new game we've been working on for 5-6 years - isn't for you guys who've given us the ability to make it in the first place." People have got to remember PoE2 is in EA. I keep saying it, but everyone is treating this game like it full launched and it's not even finished yet. If, after full launch you, me , or anyone else still feels the game is a disappointment, then it's time to come on here and let them know. Now is the time for critical feedback, not just a bunch of complaining.

How would you know? You didn't even offer any. There is some good cross-section of people that would benefit from tips and tricks and some manner of morale boost. If you can't even be bothered to try to meet their negativity with some level of positivity then what are you even doing man. Are you just here to troll? Just shitposting the night away?
