99% of people praising the game haven't even made it to act 3.
The Chimera boss in Act 3 is hands down the worst designed boss I have seen in any video game I have ever played. Devs who worked on that boss alone should be blacklisted from the gaming industry. Shamefully bad. |

Most of the people saying the game is great are new players with fresh accounts, little to no history of buying supporter packs and private profile. They’ll probably move on once the hype fades and won’t stick around for future leagues. They only play it because their favorite streamer is playing it. Their opinions don’t really reflect what the core community wants. Path of Exile has never been casual-friendly, and most longtime players (not all, but most) don’t want it to be. They’re just hoping for a proper update that stays true to the original game. Only time will tell...

POE2 is a blast, there will be changes no doubt due to overtuning, but in no way should they conform to what the POE1 community wants. It's a different game and they made it very clear that they were going down a different path. You don't have to like the game, because there is still POE1 for people who want that. (I still will be playing POE1 as well) Plus it seems like the people I've ran into are quite happy about the game. I got the sauce. POE2 enjoyer. PoE2 is NOT PoE1. You can play both or just one and enjoy your time. They are both different for different audiences. im so tired of seeing so many threads about how much PoE1 veterans want to change PoE2 to be more like PoE1.
Go play PoE1 and enjoy it, it exists and will continue to exist. There are plenty of people that did not enjoy PoE1 but enjoy PoE2, my self included. |

" You know, I think GGG has proven that they're really good at getting that second and third bite at the apple. Maybe one of the ones that do bow out see it pop back up in their feed one day with a skill showcase and say "OH THAT LOOKS FUN" or maybe they see it somewhere on stream and it looks fun, or it pops up on their steam feed and they're bored with FPS games for the minute and come back and try it again.
