We wanted PoE with better graphics in PoE2 not god awful Darksouls dodge combat

Yeah, thats maybe what you (And some of the other vets) wanted.

A lot of people wanted a game that is exactly like this. I fucking love it. Could never really get that much into PoE 1 because of its gameplay, this here on the other hand has the same amazing systems, but muchhh better gameplay.
Imo this is the future of ARPGs.

I get why you don't like it, and thats why they keep PoE1 alive. But you have to understand that a lot of people wanted a game like this and love it.

I like some of this ... it's not bad to have bosses have cool mechanics. However I hope they don't live too long, or my hand falls of with RSI pain. The trash mobs I sometimes found a bit tiring with their constant ultraspeed in Act 1, especially as a squishy witch. I could have done with the more chilled packs occasionally to have a more chilled ED gameplay. I get a bit of speedup, but it doesn't have to devolve into mobs on cocaine everywhere. I was happy to meet the slow lumbering hulks in Act 2... Act 1s endboss required some grinding to better gear and gems to level 5 etc, that's fine. I found the fog phases a tiny bit too cramped to be fun, though.

i am happy that its not just a PoE1 with new graphics .. its a hole new game with new gameplay. its way more fitting for the dark world we playing in.

Why in gods name would supporter packs matter on if someone likes a game?

Poe 2 is a "proper update that stays true to the original game" according to me. I don't like how brain-dead PoE1 is until you hit late end-game. It's what made me not play the last couple of leagues seriously.

I enjoy the slower pace and more fun combat. I also understand that if I want to explode entire screens and run trough the campaign while watching a movie. I can do that in the game that they've said they will keep updating.

If you just want better graphics and the same game. Ask them to update the graphics in PoE1?

I'm not new and I have some supporter packs. So I guess my opinion is valid enough for you.

You've barely played poe 1, but you position yourself as an expert.

Dodging hillock and rhoas is peak PoE gameplay engagement. I never played more casual game in gameplay department, Golden Axes were more hardcore.

I wrote game rules, no need to play a game with no gameplay to assess the ruleset running it. I laughed for 2 minutes straight first time I read afair evasion calculation.

Also don't assume too much, I play hc ruthless and hc ssf almost exclusively on this account (except for free boxes heh), exactly to preserve the semblance of gameplay, tension and dignity in this. Might be better than you, not that I care heh.

I love 1 btw (or the promise rather), just funny to see people who say PoE 2 is hard and soulslike use the term casual.

Exactly, I saw that argument multiple times, "how will I work/ watch a show while playing now" heh. Hardcore game for hardcore audience.

I wish forums had clown reaction like Steam. If you want poe mechanics, just play poe instead of poe2?
