I can speak for the majority when numbers and common sense prove me right.

This game has already gone through multiple closed beta tests. If you think they'll change everything and rebuild the gameplay fundamentals from the scratch, just because a bunch of salty PoE 1 players are mad about it, you are the delusional one.

Same argument was used by flat earter. You think Common sense is being used in an argument about a game is very interesting.

I played Diablo 2, Diablo 3, Grim Dawn, Titan Quest, Last Epoch, Lost Ark and Pillars of Eternity. It doesn't mean I'm a PoE 1 frog just because I used to play it in the past, I think PoE 1 is a terrible game and I'll never return to that garbage. It used to be good, but now it's one of the worst aRPGs in the market.

You know I'm not talking about everyone who has played PoE 1 in the past when I say PoE 1 players, I'm talking about the people who think PoE 1 is a good game.

Minions being too squishy is an issue and will be fixed. Melee feeling bad early on is an issue and will be fixed. The game being "too hard" is not an issue and will not be fixed, because the game isn't too hard. The game is already good enough, unless you're an unskilled PoE 1 player.

To me Imm loving it.

I prefer the more slowed pace like D2. The campaign is harder if you rush it. There is no league, there is no need to rush, just enjoy playing. I'm cleaning all the Mal's doing secondary quest, boss bounties, map icons etc..Never feel underpower playing Poison Ranger.

Bosses are difficult, yes but not impossible or unfair to me. All dangerous attack can be telegraph with dodge, the fights are engaging. We are just accostumed to go with a OP league build and face tank.

Additionally if the bosses in the campaign aren't dummy,.and they are hard bosses, they can be used to drop good loot in the future and not be only 1 kill and will forget it. Just like D2 farming Baals, meohisto and Diablo runs. Other way of farming items i the end game.

I love POE but little by little te game become to fast, just running at the speed of sound with AOE that cover the whole screen.

Remember POE is game were we know everything . POE2 is EA, we don't have all the tool, we don't know the best builds, skills or gems. Builds will be better.

The game will be faster, but I wish that don't become as faster as POE1.



For now I'm liking better than POE1

No, most people are not loving it... I was in game yesterday and 50-60% of chat messages were desperate people writing "please someone help me with Act 1 boss"...

How long do you think until they drop the game and decide this is not worth it???

Also the game is not an ARPG anymore... it's a souls game that has no different playstyles... every class and every build plays the same... kite and dodge and kite and dodge and kite and dodge... game is dumb af, it's tedious af because every enemy has a health pool of a flopity-million hit points and takes forever to do anything...

In a genre that is all about killing hordes of monsters they decided the right way was to make it "a Dark Souls wannabe" and make you need to be "tactical" against fucking white mobs!!!

And by "tactical" I of course mean dodge roll around endlessly because that's the only "tactic" no matter what class you're playing...

The game is horrific!!!

And it's horrific because Dark Souls games have NO BUSINESS being in any other genre than their own because their gameplay is flawed and annoying and it doesn't work in other genres AT ALL!!!

Because so far, by just looking at posts on this forum I can tell that the people that actually like this iteration of PoE2 are in minority. :D
