Loot is awful
" I am happy for those players that are getting great drops, but it makes you feel like you are missing out on an experience when nothing drops for you, I know there is some element of RNG, but holy mother of christ, why is there so much disparity between drops for players? |

I don't know if that's intentional, because it was said that currency should be dropped more often than in POE 1. However, almost nothing drops. I'm now at the end of Act 1 and I've found 1 yellow item and otherwise just flasks... the whole thing is even worse than Poe 1 Ruthless Mode and ruins the fun of the game for me. Yes, it is difficult and you have to have movement and skill for many bosses. I find that very, very difficult, but okay. However, it is absolutely no fun to receive any usable items for the character. I've been looking forward to Poe 2 for all these years, but if it stays like this I won't continue playing and will go back to Poe 1

" I'm in the same boat, why can't we have drops that allow us to build our characters? |

Here take my +1
All orbs besides transmutes and augments just don't drop more or less Same goes for bases and rares, alto its less important than currency |

Also the passive tree lacks meaningful choices.
There a lack of specific damage nodes(outside of top of the tree), thus you pick the best generic damage node(which isn't really a choice) regardless of build. There is also a lack of sustain options outside of the top of the tree(ES and recoup in high amounts), so unless you are a witch or sorceress you really are not going to be choosing between damage and defences because the only answer is more damage. |

I'm only in Act 2 at the moment, and I don't mind the direction of leaning into crafting.
But as it stands, I'm not getting remotely enough materials to craft when I want to. I clear all maps 100%, pick up every non-normal item for disenchanting, pick up socketed and superior items for salvaging. Yet I still feel an urge to save up my crafting materials and avoid crafting for as long as I can, because of how little of these I get. And that is not what a system focusing on crafting should feel like. I feel these materials should perhaps be a little more accessible, without the need to interrupt gameplay just to haul trash back to town for salvaging and disenchanting. |

" This is the crux of the problem really, hope they fix it |

" Defense feels really underpowered currently |

I like the current loot drop rate.
I can progress through the game without ever having to farm loot. There are multiple ways to gear up: -drops -crafting -buying items from vendor I used them all, but optimized none (e.g. you could look for new items to buy at vendors after everys level up). I like that I don't need to look through giant piles of trash loots and don't have to constantly throw away my gear to replace it with the next better version after 5 min. I like that I can have a challenge and do not overgear content easily. I like that there seem to be few "tiers" of loot per act and I can stay a while in a loot tier, get smaller improvements and numbers do not become super large. |

" And what does an individual do when none of those 3 ways mentioned are working, when none of the agency is making any impact to improving your character? Exactly, enough with these strawman arguments. Quit defending shit |
