casting skills is so f'ing cluncky, i really dont understand when they tested it internally what person said yep, this is ok, move on? like for example, that "traitor" mini boss in act 2, she is moving and casting skills waaaaaaaay to fast, and if you play monk like me you just can't kill her... i dont wanna mention the damage imba she deals... they really dropped the ball on some things in EA, sad...

Came to these forums to post about the Mad Wolf fight and I see someone did on page 3. If you want to be like Dark Souls that's fine, there's an audience for that, but it ain't me. I do enough hard work at actual work, I don't need to slog through 50 fights until I get it JUST RIGHT and don't eat it.
As a witch there's like 20 possible things that can end the Mad Wolf fight, it's a huge pain in the ass and if that's the kind of game this is gonna be, enjoy my 60 bucks because I'm out. |

" It's really lame all the people talking in here about "just dodge" like people don't know about the roll mechanic. in the 4th fog when there's a bunch of wolves and your minions can't hold out, it's a crap shoot whether you can roll through them or get caught up and then blown up by the mad wolf. good for you you got through it, grats on your l33tn3ss, but as others are saying on this thread, its too much like work. You like that, good for you, GGG wants that, good for them. We're just providing feedback, yours being different doesn't make ours less, so those of you being all dismissive should maybe get off that high horse. |

I think the fights are cool, but slightly overtuned in some ways. The main thing I personally feel is that there's not much a "cooldown" after the boss uses powerful attacks or combos to damage the bosses and recover. That and, I suppose they just don't tend to drop enough loot/reward to match the challenge and time invested on each fight imo.

" Last paragraph first, softcore is supposed to be easy mode. This game is not easy by any single metric. The title infers that the entire media are calling this too hard (which I doubt) and they are 100% correct. Trash needs to be half as hard, bosses mostly are ok but either we needs more rewards to prepare or some bosses need nerfing. Revive time is interrupted by dmg and that just makes duo runs a near 100% suicide to revive teammate, a better option would be remove revives and replace them with respawn at checkpoint with a given (say 30 seconds) delay, that increases each death. FYI I am a 58 year old gamer and programmer with lots of experience and I have adapted to enjoy the most part of this game except the time to complete even basic kills.
