just to be clear I'm on board with putting a difficulty choice or slider in. Just not finding the current balance to be "too hard" and once again I have tuned into a couple streams where streamer who wont be named was having a hard time but was throwing his face at bosses getting swamped and not playing well. And one such streamer actually posted here to complain.
There's definitely a few mobs that are Archnemesis levels of dumb (HP sponge action). Don't get me wrong they need to tweak and balance but preferable after the dust has settled a couple days or weeks. Pandering to players who don't want consequences for their mistakes is a perfect description of what went fundamentally wrong with D3 and 4.
If they wanted mindless mobile game time waster gameplay they sure did make some perplexing choices and marketing statements for 6 fucking years. |

The game expects the player from the start to pay attention, to care for gear, to learn bosses - this is good I have fun from the start, and I'm glad it doesn't start many hours into the game.
Adding a separate Easy League (with apropriate name) would make the game accessible for players who want easier experience or have disabilities. Game difficulties are a normal thing, and they don't detract from the game. Easy mode could be something like this: - Enemies have 10% less dmg - Enemies have 10% less life - Character roll have longer distance, and have phasing. - Rare and Unique enemies have 10% slower attack/ spells cast and animation. - The most damaging skills of bosses are even slower. |
